Fast forward to now, all sorts of piercings are a norm. So much so that even asking the dumb questions Letterman asked about a nose ring would make you look like the freak.
It's fascinating to watch old interviews, the male interviewers were really insensitive, obnoxious and mocking. They weren't alone, old comedies reveal chauvinistic attitudes & belittling women to the extreme. I can see why women had enough. Now it's gone too far the other way but I get it.
You girls have gotten so defensive, it's no wonder why you end up alone in a house full of cats and filled with animosity. Men and Women compliment each other but the mutated form of Feminism makes you see otherwise. Men and Women have completely different sensibilities. In the 60's when they started to tell Women that they are identical to men and should do everything they do, that caused a lot of misery and makes people\, like you for instance.
It’s as if he had no idea what to say to her and he made no preparation for the interview. Sloppy job. At the end she probably wondered why she even came to the interview.
The audience was laughing at parts that wasn't even funny lol like you got a nose piercing haha...it looks nice haha ...like ooookay any way Lisa has and will always be beautiful .
At that time in the 80s/90s it wasn't a common name and people with nose piercings were considered freaks essentially. It's so odd watching this now that I'm in my 30s. When I was a kid, Lisa Bonet was considered edgy and rebellious.

He would not have a job this time in 2021. David Letterman is really judgemental and actually not a good host. It is a different time now when people not afraid to notice something wrong and speak up. David Letterman was wrong on so many interviews with some of his guest. For one lindsay lohan. It would not be acceptable today,

Exactly.... extremely irresponsible of her I think. What if something would have gone wrong? I don't think she had the hospital equipment just sitting in her bedroom.

Just seeing a current picture of Lisa, it's ghastly. Her hair all grey , in dread locks. Please dye your hair and cut it, enough with the braids. You obviously have given up on getting Jason back, or any other man for that matter. Still have your beautiful face, but aged , and not nicely ❤❤
Their is a beauty in accepting the changes as we age. The grey locs look great on her and shows that she’s okay with the woman she has become. Would be a shame to drive yourself mad to constantly keep up with things in hoping to please others ♥️
She lost a lot of her mesmerizing beauty after giving birth to Zoe. They say having daughters takes the beauty away from a woman. In her case it's drastically true.
Of course a woman is going to look different in her 40s and 50s then she did in her 20s. She is still beautiful and didn't get plastic surgery like 90% of the actresses.
She is still beautiful, but lets not kid ourselves she has not aged greatly and is not as attractive as she once was, but she's still a beatuiful spirit and seemingly a great mother and family woman with her priorities in order.
