....she would be perfect....but honestly i do not think they have the taste level to have her do it because she is not a famous singer....even though she is absolutely one of the BEST....you know how BOND always walks into a casino to gamble and seduce the villianess....of course LISA could be singing in the casino in a vintage HALSTON CAFTAN in GOLD....killing it....

Singing on a level all her own...superb....and even that adjective is not enough to capture her unbelievable mastery in singing in virtually any genre....and hitting the stratosphere with her high note and has a gorgeous low register. Words fail.....

@@dissilymordentroge5818 She had a recording contract in 1991 with Elektra. The album resulted in a Grammy Award for the song "How Can I Ease The Pain". The pressures of being a solo singer, promoting and marketing songs, releasing a follow-up and losing her record deal with Elektra, when the company was taken over by WEA, forced her return to background work - I think in a way she was relieved to return to this work . The film "20 Feet From Stardom" showcases her work after which she received offers of gigs and concerts. She seems in her element touring with her band, "Grand Baton", without the pressure a record contract would bring.

@@sylviamaua745 Yes, I know of her early recording. My problem is there are so many horribly distorted bootleg recordings of her live performances on RU-vid etc it’s endlessly frustrating, At least we now have access to her recent RoyaL Albert Hall Concert in memory of Nina Simone . I had the joy of hearing her a few years ago live in Sydney where she blew the rafters off. As far as I can learn concert too insn’t available in on high quality CD/DVD/ download of whatever. OK, if she’s doesn’t want to get tangled up with the commercial recording industry that’s her right but heck I find it frustrating.
