Lisa's speaking voice is just as fascinating as her singing voice. The freedom and liberation that drips from her aura and personality is not common everyday stuff.

This is what you call a phenomenal woman. She has a beautiful spirit about herself. She should've been as big a star as Whitney. Her vocals are absolutely magnificent!

The fact that she is such a humble person is what makes her a great artist. She must've struggled a lot after losing her mom and dad leaving the household. These are real people that know what life is all about and even though they hv a gift they use it properly and dont brag.

I love this great lady so much. I went to her show in Los Angeles and there was so much love for her in the room after the show that she came off the stage and just hung out with the audience - and hugged everybody that wanted to hug her. She didn't really speak because she was saving her voice for another show, she just whispered, but I had never seen a performer do that. Amazing.

I've admired her voice massively for a long time but this is the first time I've listened to her being interviewed. I've got to say what a lovely human being, you don't often get such a talented person with such a fantastic personality. I mean there's some very decent people but Lisa takes it to another level. What a warm friendly humble person.

OMG!! Where has she been??? I LOVED her from the very beginning. What a set of pipes this woman has. Why hasn't Unsung done a feature on her yet?

Very nice interview! I saw Lisa and GB in Stockholm in the end of May 2016, and!! I got to sit at a table neck and neck with the stage, so it was almost as sitting in her knee...I mean you could hear the direct vibe in the air from her voice before it came out in the PA like. What I was most surprised to experience was the fantastic coloration JC Maillard had in his playing, things that don´t come through so much, or at all, in iphone video recordings you find on youtube. The performance on Fasching, was top notch, like a performance you as a band could hope for to happen once or twice ..like...and they are doing it day after day...I have checked videos on youtube. Well do yourself a favor and go see ´em if you have the opportunity. A friend that I took along said it was one of the best performances he had seen, and they were completely new to him. On their version ( maybe it is a JC arrangement ) of JJ Flash they have a ..well should I say a " criss cross " or a " crossfire " of two melodies in a part of the song, where Lisa is singing one melody and JC the other, it is not ..well.." simple thirds " type...they are going quarter and fifths, criss cross...well...something that I find very difficult to sing...you try it! and I was expecting that at least one of them would fail...well..just a little at least...no way ..it was smack on...very musical...top notch ear and control! Happy to find this interview made by a music lover!

look, to be honest, I really fancy her. Am I allowed to even say that these days? I don't know, I mean it in the nicest way, she is just beautiful.

beautiful woman/voice indeed. no disrespect to former awesome, made "gimme shelter" her own. though does this top the backgrounds for bud lights real men of genius? at very least should be on her resume. perhaps I'm wrong about that fact.
