I knew Lisa when she was a cashier @ the Finest supermarket in Fort Greene Brooklyn in the 70's. She was a beautiful person then and I see she is still as beautiful. Whe he said that she is the nicest person, she really is. I had no idea at that time that she was even a singer. I would love to see her perform somewhere and see if she would even remember me. !
April J. Yea she seems very nice. And very humble. Spoke a few times briefly on fb with her. She's lovely. Still mesmerized by her 92 performance in Japan doing Ease The Pain.
April J. That is a great story, April! I have met Lisa 3 times after her shows and have dialogued with her on Facebook. She is super humble, sweet, engaging and caring to this day. A phenomenal talent and human being!
Of course, I love Lisa, she's a real Bodhi : ) But I must say the anchor man is a very sweet person as well, open-hearted and unbiased. Great interview.
after seeing Whitney can't I be me, this makes me see that fame has a really high price! Whitney and Lisa were actually peers but Lisa was aware of who she was back then, Whitney seemed to be able to thrive by pleasing others unwillingly to her unfortunate demise. It's a lesson in knowing who you really are!
You are excepting yourself more which I wish someone in your life would’ve said that to you. But we go through our own journeys. And hopefully, hopefully we are finally able to see who we really are. And except and love who we really are. You are truly such A bright light. Never forget that.❤️❤️❤️
