The 2 gauge cables are working great! If you get the above cables, you won't have to cut the plastic like I did.

Trim the sides of the lugs to allow you to use the heavier cables.

That's right, just put them in a vise and file the sides for exact fit, not cutting on the battery required.

I was just thinking this week: "I wonder how Dan, little buddy, dancepartner and Willow are doing". Nice to see you doing a video again. I hope this extended battery system works well for you

Henk! We're doing alright. A lot of life has happened over the last year and a half. More on that later. How are things going on your end?

You could do a little DIY and just grind/cut down some of the width of those large lugs on the large cables. It looks like only a small amount of material would need to come off to make it fit, so not enough to compromise the structural/electrical integrity of the lugs. Another DIY option is just buy small lugs and crimp it yourself onto the large cables. If you can't find the large cable with small lugs, less DIY option is to just double the cables, use 2 of them, it looks like enough space on the battery post to put 2 lugs. Instead of having all that power run through 1 cable, it'll distribute through 2. Give you some peace of mind if you can't find the large cables with small lugs and don't want to do DIY stuff.

Is this the 15S or 16S battery? It will make a difference in your system.
