Little Nightmares 2 - Doctor & Teacher Comics (Reaction / Analysis) 

These comics feel creepier than the actual game for me. Seeing the desperation of these kids, the fear they feel in this world. Neither Six or Mono really express it much, but these illustrations are setting such a tone.. I think when I look at the Teacher or the Doctor now, they are gonna feel creepier cause I know real things they have done.

These comics all seem to end with the child of the episode being apprehended by one of the monsters here (Hunter, Thin Man, Doctor and Teacher) This makes me wonder if the next one will introduce new monsters that we’ve never heard of. Or, New ideas: Episode 5 will involve a new kid and the Viewers and Episode 6 will involve Mono and the Signal Tower, maybe right before the start of the second game! I generally just watch horror games on RU-vid, but I am so excited to actually play this myself!

the comics are so high quality they look like movie scenes, the LN team hella pulls through with this franchise 😭💞

I think that the children killed in the comics are related or are the glitches on the game. Cause if you notice on the second comic, the kid hears a scream and there are blood marks on the toilet outside the hunter's house, and later in the game you actually find a glitch there...Idk, maybe I'm wrong.

I feel like these are back stories of the glitches we found througout the game.. there are 18 glitches found in the game so there will be 18 chapters of the comic I think..

"I didn't think it could get any worse and it just has." yep, that pretty much sums up little nightmares

Looking around, I’ve found the world is bigger than the pale city, the maw, the forest, and the nest. In the first little nightmares comic, kids were sharing their stories in a vent in the maw. and one kid mentions him and his sister running from “the north wind” somewhere in the hilly country. What happened was the North wind struck a deal with the boy and transformed back to the Fairy man, therefore taking him to the maw. I’m curious where that part of the world is on the ln2 map

I think what happened with the spoon girl is that she dug a tunnel then needed a new spoon so went back to her cell but noticed the door was open this time. There's a glitched remains next to the hole in the game so I reckon she must've tried to escape from the Doctor down the hole and got eaten by whatever is down there (if you throw the cheese you find in the other room down the hole, you can hear something gobbling it up and you also die if you jump in it). I'm really not sure tbh. Also, in LN1 when you're in the lift with Roger he picks up a spoon and is fascinated by it. So maybe he's the one putting spoons under the door? And the tally marks are all over the wall and the girl is way too short to reach. So lots of questions. I wish they'd stop just giving us more unanswered questions and actually answers.

Episode 6 looks super intriguing

I kinda agree with the broken time loop theory. It's like everything is going on at the same time. It's like the teacher can stretch her necks because she already did that.. like she already chase Mono and Six..

Did u realize the chubby kid stay in the school purposely to fight off the bullies. When teacher come, he could have easily escape. He went back into the school and hide in closet. Mean that he stay to fight

I already wrote that I think that is not a cycle thing. But I want to detail a little bit. Choosing my theory, somebody can ask a question. What about the thin man and Mono? I think that the thin man and Mono aren't the same person. Yes, they have the same powers and the same looks( i mean the same clothes), But are that worthy evidences? We don't have much information about how kids get their powers. I have a hypothesis about that. Maybe, the get powers when they expierence a strong fear. At this moment every kid gets a power related with feelings, thoughts at the moment( Six gets hunger because she felt anger at the moment when her last thing that she carried about was broken, Mono got his power when he was in a TV, maybe at this moment he wanted to teleport somewhere). According to this hypothesis, come kids might have the same powers because similar situations and thoughts,feelings they have expeirenced. Than it does make sense if the thin man and Mono are not the same person. Speaking about the clothes, maybe its a special clothes for a who in the tower. Mono had different clothe when he was younger but with growing he got the clothes from the tower. it offered it for him, inviting to be the next.

These comics reminds me of the "Tales of the Unusual" where there is only an unfortunate fate

And did u realize the one passing the spoon to the girl is also the doctor and he be watching her the whole time. U can see a shadow on the ceiling when thr girl is digging. U see the shadow at the door is like one only instead of two like a feet. Why is it one, it the head of doctor crawling down from thr ceiling

So if Little Nightmares 2 is a prequel, and Mono isn't in the first game, only Six, does that mean that something bad happens to Mono, and Six gets captured or something? I don't know, I just think that the game won't have a very happy ending

I still question myself, where did six, mono, and other kids came from? Is there a civilization out there that's not full of monsters?

My maternal instincts hate these comics. This world is so dreadfully bleak-if it wasn't as interesting and aesthetically unique I don't think I'd be as invested.

I think the doctor was one giving spoons to that girl maybe he was doing some kind of experiment or just some kind of evil prank 🤔

It wasn't taking her days to dig, she just marked every spoon, it shows how many spoons she wasted, not how many days passed. Let's be real she would die of starvation and dehydration if that many days passed. It's 72 marks, that's an unreal amount. And it's not like she knows when it's day and when it's night.

Well, these comics are definitely reinforcing the idea I’ve had that this world has no true happy endings, for anyone really. Thus leading me to believe that Little Nightmares 2 will not have a happy ending, or a twisted one at that. Cause now we’ve seen a bunch of kids in this world meet grim fates, Six being the only one who’s lived and even then, she only did because she had to do something horrible to someone else. This world definitely seems to live on the idea of, “Kill or be killed.” Or something to that effect. Cause look at all the kids in these comics and from the other games, all of them met a grim fate, or flat out death, all because they wanted to escape and live. But even then, this world shows how unfair it is. As though Six did something horrible in order for her to live, so did the chubby kid in this comic, he “killed” the dolls. Though we don’t know who or what they actually are, it can be presumed they are somehow kids turned into them, meaning he killed his fellow students. Yet despite still doing the horrible things this world seems to require people to do in order to live, he was still met with a grim fate by the Teacher. So...yeah, this world has no happy endings.

I actually got sad (and creeped out) watching this. In the first game it’s easy to forget that Six is a kid, because she doesn’t show a lot of weakness there. But here we see Mono’s fear and the Blindfolded kids naivety(?). And just the pigtails and lollipop just reminded me that these are children that are being tortured and chased. Now I’m rooting for Mono and Six so much more, I can’t wait for the second game.

Seriously, The Teacher is horrifying here. Someone pass me a crucifix.

The scariest part is she knows where the boy was.

So... Five chapters. Five unnamed kids. And then we had Six. Anyone else seeing this or is it just me? edit: and since Mono means "one" in a loose sense, Mono was the first kid.

Okay this proves there's something else going on with the Doctor. I just assumed that despite his body weight and size, he was merely just strong enough to grapple on to the ceiling. But in that last shot of Comic 3, he isn't even grappling anything, his palms are flat as if he's sticking to the ceiling instead. Very peculiar

From how I understood the 3rd chapter it looked like the girl had left her cell just before the Doctor came in (he can be spotted top right of the image just before she resurfaces in the next scene) and found her gone, and all her digging led her into another cell where someone else had been held captive. Saw someone compare the 2 cells side by side and they are different, the days marked are different. Luckily for her, the door to this cell was open, unluckily for her however was the fact that the Doctor was already patrolling the halls looking for her.

I have a feeling that we're going to find clues of what happened to the kids as we progress through the game. Just thinking of this gives me the shivers

I'm thinking maybe the school kids do remember their life as real kids or have some sort of semblance of sapiance, in the second story the kid stared in what seems like disbelief at the chubby one breaking his friends head. So they clearly still feel emotion, does that make it immoral to do it? Would life be better off the way it is for them, what's actually going to change once Mono reaches the tower? What if the broadcast stops but everything still stays distorted, will the world's inhabitants be in pain or maybe all just drop dead? I'm so excited to see how this all plays out

I think the final two comics might come out on February 10th seeing how the first came on 13th January and 2 weeks later on 27th January the second two came so 2 weeks later after that is February 10th though I might be wrong seeing how it is a day before the release of little nightmares 2 though it could happen

In Japanese folklore there's a type of yokai known as a rokurokubi. During the day it's impossible to tell a rokurokubi apart from normal humans but when night falls a rokurokubis neck begins to extend until its several times the length of the body. A rokurokubis neck is flexible and able to get into places out of bounds to normal people with ease. My personal theory concerning the teacher is that her rokurokubi traits is a physical manifestation of her pathological need to exercise control over her environment and everything in it,the schoolhouse and her students.

Maybe there will be dlc's about these kids and them escaping from the bosses. Not only will we learn more about them but about the bosses too

i think that the boy in the second comics in the forest has been tested by the hunter the girl by the doctor and the crying one by the teacher and they all passed the test and the thin man is taking them to make them the next hunter, doctor and teacher like this cycle of pretender-lady-granny. what do you think? edit: also the trail that given by anyone was like there job the hunter was to survive the wolves the doctor was to dig in the ground like dig in a human body and the last one was to be tuff with the bullies.

i feel like the comics are in the order that the game might be layed out in, it starts with the wilderness, then the hunters hut, then the hospital and after that the schoolhouse, then the city and last the tower or something. i odnt know, its just a thoery doe, A GAME THEORY!!!!

Did anybody else notice the Doctor spying on the girl in 3:56 at the top right corner? In addition, I think it might weirdly be him that was giving the girl the spoons because whenever a new spoon is given you can hear the same horrible sounding low-pitched squishing noise that plays whenever the Doctor is near-by

It would be pretty dark if the doctor was the one pushing the spoons out all along just to torment her, she never got out of her cell in the first place.

Spoilers in the next comics will appear the following characters the comic number 5 will appear a girl with hair like six and gray clothes also in the last one monkey will appear and a brown boy in blue clothes with suspenders and the children who appeared in comics 3 and 4 more with the games that will appear in the last two comics will appear in a future DLC of little nightmares 2 that will be released in 2022 I think 2022 but anyway the new characters that appear in the four comics I mentioned will appear in the future DLC of little nightmares 2 Saturday 12:27pm 30/01/2021

Maybe the glitches only show where the kids were before they were destined to be captured. Also you should play Happy Game when it comes out.

Idea on the story : the hunter captures kids and prisons them in his house. Then he brings them to the doctor who changes them into puppets and brings them to the school where the teacher tortures them. A theory is that monos dad may be the hunter as he wears a bag like mono does on her head or the thin man.

Idk why but I’ve always had a theory that the blindfolded kid is the janitor OR six is the janitor because (spoiler) When we see six in the signal tower as a monster, she has long arms and the janitor and her have a lot of the same animations!

Another theory is that episode 2,3,4 all kids remind me of people 2= blind creepy man as he wears a blindfold in little nightmares 1 3= the lady from the maw in little nightmares 1 4= the chef as he’s chubby in little nightmares 1

Also what if the other kids that were captured are 1,2,3,4,5 and of course in the first chapter was 6. These kids could be the brothers and sisters of 6 trying to find her.

It's so good. I hope I can do that kind of comic sone day.

I love The Lore that is building up for this Universe i just hope we get to play as Six too and im not a fan off them changing the main character to Mono. I mean why we well i want to play as Six with Mono as the tag along so we can see her story play out to the end so we can see why she lost her powers how she gets then back how she and Mono stop whatever it is that's happening I just don't get it. But still love this Universe and all the Lore keep up the epic work and respect.

The thing I find interesting is that none of these kids are passive in their survival. They are all actively trying to keep going even though the world around them wants to harm them as it turns more and more twisted. It makes you wonder. How long have they been doing this? The tale with the little girl honestly gets me the most. Because she didn't shovel into a new cell. She came back out of her own because she knew someone must have been giving her the spoons.
