I partly agree with you, I also think there are more people that are pro police in Boston compared to some other metro areas plus the jury did not see everything we saw. I really think some of them are going to go home and watch some sort of news or analysis about it and see that the expert witnesses testifying on her behalf were originally the FBI's witnesses and they will feel like they would have changed their minds if they knew that. I'm also sure we're going to be hearing from some of them soon.
It's an indictment on our education system nation-wide. We have never taught people HOW to process information, just WHAT they need to "know". Critical thinking is at a premium in this country. No way you're gonna get 12 people and not have at least one of them be bamboozle-able with shady tactics like Lally and the Judge foisted on them.
I don't understand how his family thinks Karen is guilty after hearing all of the evidence. One would think they would want the actual murderer held accountable
@@theamazingtif Even in that case I can't understand how could she sit next to Brian Albert and Jen McCabe. And Kerri Roberts who clearly did not want KR anywhere near JOK.
I tried to give the family some grace because they were lied to for 2 plus years but I don't understand how you can hear all the evidence and still believe she killed Officer O'keefe. I have lost sympathy for them.
This is what frustrates me sooo much. Why do they hate her so much? If I were them, the only people I’d hate is the slimey people who “investigated” this case. Through testimony, they should’ve seen how crappy this investigation was done. The CW had one of the weakest cases I have ever seen in my life and yet there’s people out there (the O’Keefes family included) that continue to hate her rather than the people who could’ve found the real person/people who killed John, whether that’s KR or not, who freaking knows, because the investigation was sooo bad.
*IF* KR did it, I have no reason to believe she even knew she did, let alone did it on purpose. The investigation however… they, at best, did a shit job. I believe I’d be MORE mad at them.
@@weiccoThe death occurred at the home of retired Boston Police Officer Brian Albert. His brother, Kevin, is a Canton Police Officer, and another of his brothers, Chris, is a Canton Select Board Member.
KR needs a change of venue. How anyone could find her guilty after that trial is beyond me and points to people having pre-conceived opinions of her. There’s no evidence he was hit by a car. KR was back at his house when he was still walking around. I don’t understand.
@@somethingclever8916I think the change of venue is more based on somewhere not as close to the Canton community. Somewhere that has a more liberal mindset to consider police & social corruption. Rather than change of venue due to law tube. If the Johnny Depp case could have a jury, a second jury can be found on this one
You guys understand that Karen’s lawyers don’t actually believe that cover up BS. It’s a common defence tactic and it worked here. Propaganda campaign has influenced this trial. Lots of gullible people.
I’m sorry but it would take a lot to convince me that Proctor, McCabes and Alberts did not influence or scare the hell out of some of those jurors. The evidence 100 % proved reasonable doubt . In fact in my opinion Karen Read is 100% innocent.
I believe the jurors and families were intimidated and threatened as well!!! I’ve been saying that all along! These people are probably scared shitless of retribution by cops and or political bs. No doubt in my mind !!! Change of venue must, must happen!!!
Not sure who gifted it, but somehow I was gifted a membership even tho I came in on the last 20 seconds of the live video! Thanks for the gift & I love this community!! 💜💜
Exactly. A normal person would’ve been found guilty of everything. Thankfully, she had the resources to present a great defense. And even with that she’s still in limbo.
Which is exactly what they expected Karen Read to do. Had she been poor, like most people, she would've been forced to plead out and an innocent woman would be in jail. This system is such a joke.
Exactly 💯 and it's not right,it happened to me,when they ask you do you want 1 year or goto trial and risk 7etc life for her obviously. But if they offered her 10 years probation to admit to it.she still wouldn't do it!!! Because SHE DIDNT DO IT!!!!
There's noooo one in MA that hasn't heard about this case. I was at the dentist about 20 miles away and the entire lobby was talking about it. 90% of us wondering how it hadn't come back not guilty.
6 minutes after hearing miss - trial, the state announced they will go forward to go ahead with another trial. I hope the FBI comes through with any of their findings, to stop this injustice. Find the real people involved with Officer O’Keefe passing. Respect for Officer O’Keefe. RIP. 🙏 🩵
I am so disappointed in this outcome , I can admit I do find it crazy for “everyone” to have been in on the coverup. But the CW did not prove their case and his injuries are just not consistent with being hit by a car, in my opinion.
Not “everyone” has to be in on it.. just one maybe 2 need to stage evidence and let the rest play out honestly and regularly based on the evidence they seen
Me too. It was proved his injuries were not from a car accident. I think Mass State Police messed with the taillight, took Brian Albert/McCabe’s word instead of investigating…plus were all around embarrassingly bad at their jobs. After watching this I am not sure who killed John or how.
The arrogance of Lally to immediately say he's going to re-try her AFTER he has seen ARCCA's full report is thumbing his nose at justice. He knows she didn't do this. He's a spineless jellyfish willing to frame an innocent woman. COWARD!!!
He was also involved in that case with that teenage girl who was murdered when she was 21 and was pregnant by one of five police officers who groomed her and had been molesting her since she was a child. It was just a few minutes away from Canton.
PETER: I HOPE YOU READ THIS! NEW MEMBER! I'm an old, retired combat vet-turned criminal defense atty/State - Fed prosecutor/ magistrate/ Law School Prof (JD, SJD, PhD.) Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Constitutional History. Been watching and listening to you for a while. Clearly, you've been blessed to have a legal scholar such as your dad to mentor you personally and professionally. Here's what I've been getting "sniffs" of... The FBI investigation began as a relatively limited exercise looking into local police/ prosecutorial misconduct. NOW it's become a full-blown, major RICO investigation. The group of people I've been half-seriously referring to as "The McAlbert Crime Family," or the "McAlbert Mafia," it seems, REALLY ARE!! Often in RICO cases, a single event is the thread leading to a growing, interwoven web. Also: in my experience, and I suspect here as well, at least ONE of the people involved, and who's "disposable" to the family/ lifelong friends circle and KNOWS he'll be their Fall Guy has ALREADY flipped and is now a cooperating witness, along with a few other local thugs they associate with. I also suspect we'll start seeing federal arrests within the next few weeks. It'll be difficult to re-try this case if most of the prosecution witnesses (and other actors in this farce) are in Federal lockup. Further, the prosecution's case -- IF they actually re- try this -- will weaken. The defense will be stronger. In criminal law, it's usual for a DA to make a statement like was made today about a retrial. However, any way you slice it, this case will ALWAYS be corrupted. They'll stall, talk tough, etc., but then they'll quietly drop it a few months from now. Usually the face-saving reason is "new evidence" or something similar. N.B.: "I'm not done with you yet," or whatever Paul O'Keefe said to Karen, in this situation IS a Terroristic Threat.
Lally comes across as a narcissistic douche bag who will do anything to win. But if his witnesses start getting arrested, I don’t see him retrying this case. But I hope we eventually find out who killed John, because it wasn’t Karen IMO. However, my sympathy for John’s family in particular his brother is rapidity going away, because they should have seen that something wasn’t right about this by now.
If the witnesses are in federal lockup, I believe the court still has the authority to order their appearance, and the feds would have to facilitate that. Now, one might imagine it might hurt the credibility of the witness, if it came out that they are serving a jail sentence for their behavior on the very case in front of the jury. But, most of them ought to have close to zero credibility anyway.
@@KKonRU-vid oh, definitely not, I agree. But it began with the shoddy investigation. If it had been done correctly by the right people we would likely have more answers. Unless someone that knows the truth starts talking we will just never know what really happened bc of the lack of evidence.
To have people so blind and ignorant to think there was no reasonable doubt is absolutely extraordinarily scary to think our lives are held in their very ignorant hands if we were ever innocent.
Well, the Alberts and Michael Higgins I mean, Brian Higgins, there, staring at the jury did not help if these people are as corrupt as they overly seen, then drawers may be threatened!
Even if jurors think Karen killed John the experts completely disproved theory it happened with a car. They should have found her innocent as CW theory was disproved. IMO everyone should blame the MSP for doing an extremely poor job with their investigation.
This is disappointing and disturbing. If it was a different Judge, I’d ask for a bench trial but not with Bev. Also, I would Subpoena Nicole to find the location in Vermont to test Chloe. The dog would testify better then all of Lally’s witnesses.
@@Pr3ttyGiirlALWAYS I recall someone ( EDB or Peter I THINK) saying it was to late to get the dog in this trial once the defense learned about Chloe's current whereabouts. However, in a new trial I believe if the dog hasn't been euthanized they could attempt to get teeth impressions, photos, ECT. Hopefully they don't put the dog down tomorrow. 😡
I cant understand how they can find her guilty when all the experts said he was not hit by a car. Furthermore according yo the digital evidence, she was in Johns wifi by 12.36 and according to the key cycles the car was in the police custody when It reverse at 24 miles/h.
@@jackiemyers2773trooper Paul is not an expert. He is just a guy who took some classes and passed an exam, he also sounded like an absolute fool on the stand.
As a former UK police officer and having watched much of this trial , I missed the part of how Karen Reads car inflicted dog bites on Mr OKeefe’s arm , didn't manage to bruise any of his body or bounce his body into the air for hours in between Karen dropping him off , him not being on the lawn when the snow plough driver went past but then landed after that when he was found, it's all BS , the cops did it and have tried to cover it up , a friend of the cops should not have been in charge of this case , he was never going to find any of his friends were responsible , Karen was the ' patsy' , she wasn't in ' the circle'
SERIOUSLY. That's the one thing that really sticks out to me - NO BRUISING. I literally bumped into a door the other day and have a massive bruise on my arm. How does a 1000lb car traveling at 24mph not leave a bruise????
As a person who always has comments made about my expressions, I'm tired of hearing about the way she looks. Her expression is her expression. I don't think it is a smirk, I think it's just her face.
Yessss. I’m seeing so many comments about that. It’s scary to think they want her convicted of murder bc she looks smug, smirked, smiled, etc and they just don’t like her. Unbelievable.
She has a very special future where ever she will be, because She stood up to this corruption and the town that wants the change are her supporters, She can’t forget her supporters from all over, they already breath through her.
I just don't see how anyone voting guilty, especially after multiple experts, AND logic, saying JOK could not have been hit by a car, is "reasonable". It is far from reasonable to assign greater weight to circumstantial evidence vs. expert testimony and medical evidence. This is absolutely insane and scary to see, and should concern anyone, guilty or not, who is a defendant in a criminal trial.
Maybe Peter was right in saying that the defense should have emphasized reasonable doubt, instead of trying to get there through conspiracy. Can you imagine how infuriating it must have been to see all the reasonable doubt clearly and then have other people not willing to acknowledge it?
I spoke with my husband about it. Mind you, he didn’t watch the trial but he went off what he read and what he heard from me. His best guess is that some Jurors trust police more, so they found their evidence and testimony more credibly. They aren’t supposed to, and our told not to, but they do it anyway. And I agree on that, if you believe Proctor was trustworthy in his investigation, and their experts were trustworthy because the cops use them, then I can see how you get to guilty. BUT, and I told my husband this, my mind CANNOT get around all the inconsistencies and the laughable expert of Trooper Paul’s testimony, and the ME not leaning to one option than the other.
@@aspencrest I totally agree. I thought from the beginning that defense strategy may have been too aggressive and far reaching. It takes a lot for people to believe a massive cover up and I thought for sure in closing they’d explain the reasonable doubt standard a little better. However, I do think the 3rd party culpability theory was probably necessary to some extent for them to argue and present evidence for.
@@rachelann9362 EXACTLY on the ME and trooper Paul. That’s why I feel like it’s so unreasonable to deem LE’s testimony was credible just because of their profession. Because when confronted with evidence, they all ended up with their foot in their mouth.
All of us in MA county need to vote Michael Morrissey OUT in April. Is there anything else MA residents can do to voice our opinion on tax payer money to prosecute?
Do a letter drive to the prosecutor's office. They are only doing this to save face, if you prove to them its political suicide by FLOODING their office with letters from *LOCAL voters, all telling them to stop wasting their time and money, they'll listen. I don't know if you have any way to get a lot of people on board but if you do, get on that horn. Emailing could work too, you could try doing a petition online or door to door. Any way that you can get a lot of local names, and I mean a lot, to sign on saying that this is not what they agree to, it'll make a difference. But in that area, I really don't know if I would want to do cold calls in person, it doesn't seem safe.
It is wild to me that the jury struggled on a case that was so cut and dry! There was so much reasonable doubt and the CW didn’t even prove that OJO was hit by a car… therefore it should have been not guilty on all counts imho. Thank you Peter for discussing all of this from a legal perspective. 💗 I always learn so much from you. 💞
My son is a police officer and a really good one and I'm supportive of the police and even I can see how terribly corrupt this entire investigation was. It's mind-boggling that there is a hung jury.
I was on a jury once, it hung, and was simply because two people were incapable of critical thinking. The defense attorney was super slick and effective. It shook my confidence in our justice system. it's not like juror selection tests for intelligence. :D
We don't really know that because of the frame-up job pulled by the Canton PD and the gang. But, I definitely felt there was more than enough evidence for reasonable doubt. I have a hard time believing that the note sent from the jurors said there were substantial convictions on both sides. That's just really surprising to me. But, I read another comment reminding us that the jurors didn't get to see the "whole" trial as we did, and they were also unaware that the FBI are the last two experts that were on the stand.
I’m not going to rag on jurors. I’ve served on two juries and I had ZERO doubt what the verdict would be by the end, and yet first votes were not unanimous. I was an alternate in the first trial, not the second. The second, a murder trial, it was interesting to hear others’ perceptions and talk it out.
I’m a little confused about how the jurors continued to discuss their fundamental beliefs and morals while deliberating... I thought cases were tried on LAW and not feelings.
@@gingerhickerson5792and on the other side, if I felt she was not guilty, based on the evidence, then I could not morally just switch my vote to "guilty" just to appease the fellow jurors
Honestly does no one understand how the process works- IT IS FUNDAMENTALLY a BELEIF- do you BELIEVE the states evidence proves the defendent is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If you BELEIVE it does than you will MORALLY have an issue with aquitting them, if you BELEIVE it does not than you will MORALLY have an issue with finding them guilty. The MORAL principles of finding a person you BELIEVE potentially innocent guilty, aquitting a person a person you BELIEVE is guioty beyond a reasonable doubt inevitably conflict. I truly dont understand everyone saying "beleifs morals omg what its "e.v.i.d.e.n.c.e" - how do you JUDGE THE EVIDENCE without you know YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT. There is no way to determine guilt without EVALUATING the evidence in your own mind, and PEOPLE will DISAGREE about how to evaluate these things & what they suggest.
I am 68 years old and more cynical of our legal system than I used to be. There is reasonable doubt all over the place. BTW, Being pro or anti police should not influence one’s view of facts presented.
💯 agree. At this point we have feelings police and enforcer's. Cause if they judged real facts they would have voted not guilty. Or they are intimidated and/or paid off
I agree. I also found out that Paul O’Keefe hit someone while drunk with his car apparently going 24mph but it looked like a higher speed imo and the person he hit who was also in their car now has permanent damage(he may be paralysed but I could be wrong). Karen bailed Paul out. This really shocked me because this was only about a year before John passed and Paul clearly knows the damage a car can do to someone’s body now a imagine hitting a person directly not even the car they are in. I’m becoming more suspicious of Paul and the way he is acting given his past.
This all feels like a prosecution of the wrong person, to protect & serve prior & current corrupt police. A supposedly victim hit by a car with no bruising as opposed to being jumped & struck with a bat or other blunt object.
Punched directly in the face!! Sold their home, got rid of the dog, wiped their phones, lied continually, police purgered themselves when lying about sallyport video and never touching the right side of the vehicle by tailgate!!
Think about how many people plead guilty to crimes they didn't commit because they couldn't retain a good counsel for 2, 9wk trials. I can't even advocate for justice for John O'Keefe while this injustice is happening live. This is preventable!
Exactly. So gross they did that! I was on a jury once and had to explain this to some other jurors and it actually helped them realize they needed to go based solely on the evidence, or lack thereof and we got to an unanimous non guilty verdict. I was very young at the time I served and so glad I understood that and others listened to me with an open mind. ❤
That´s not true. My husband spoke with his friend yesterday and told him I follow this case, and the friend never heard of it. He lives in Karens area.
@@spalanki352Apparently he doesn’t watch the news. I don’t know how anyone in the area could be unaware of the case ! I can see them not following it, but not hearing about it is shocking to me.
Defense needs an expert to go thru key cycles. AJ started this with Trooper Paul. From my rough count, Paul's analysis was wrong and the 24mph in reverse did not line up with JOK drop off
Can the defense come back and use the FBI and bite expert to their full potential instead of the judge putting restrictions on them....unlike trooper Paul
This is what got me. She limited the testimony knowing it would hurt the prosecutors. Yet trooper Paul was up there talking about so much stuff he never should have been allowed to. Defense would object and she'd "I'll allow that"
I think there’s jurors who couldn’t decide with moral certainty that there was police corruption and that’s what in their mind they had to accept, to give a not guilty.
What a waste of tax money. She never should have gone to trial in the first place. The jury is just a reflection of everyone weighing in on this case. It was always going to be a hung jury. I hope they just drop the charges and let her live her life. Unless someone comes forward with the truth. We may never know what really happened to John.
What a horrible disappointment. Even with the obvious display of corruption in the police department, especially Proctor, it wasn't enough for a not guilty. I really don't think I can handle another trial if Bev is still the judge, her behaviour was deplorable.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Commonwealth receives pushback from the state (the Gov has announced her displeasure with the cops on the case) and/or the federal government since the FBI are doing their own investigation. I agree that they may say they will be retrying her now (to save face), but wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t bring the case to trial again.
What a waste of money and Lally immediately commits to another fiasco . Clearly it shouldn’t have happened to begin with. The police failed a fellow officer at a thorough investigation. I can’t help but wonder why?
Laurie- why should Karen show remorse? She didn’t hit him. She’s fighting for her life here. Her facial expressions are irrelevant. However, John’s brother’s menacing glower is intimidating. John OKeefe met a terrible end. All should feel sorrow.
Wow… Karen Read didn’t thank those that supported her eh?? I’ve read quite a few folks online are very upset about her not doing so and just walking off. One person even proposed if someone in their group needed help, would she be there for any of them? I thought wow that was quick. Didn’t take long for some to start turning on her. I brought up well maybe she will say something later, they said she was ungrateful and it’s too late now. Weird!
Considering how the entire investigation was impeached, I find it incredible that the jury has not exonerated Karen Read. I wonder how many of the Jurors know the Alberts and the police department?
I’ve been thinking about this for a while … do people think Trooper Paul was put up as an ‘expert’ because no other expert would testify that JOK was hit by a car and they figured someone with ‘training’ is better than no one?
There should be a transcript of this private meeting. To prevent the judge finding out what the issues were and passing that info to the prosecution, to help their strategy for the next trial .
what i take from that case is that some of the jurors are pretty ok with the police corruption's going on down in Canton..perfect example of a case for never getting judged by a group of your peers...
At this point the purpose of a change would be to eliminate the intimidation factor by the Abbots and McCabe's. They even weren't afraid to do it in court during closing arguments.
@@gingerhickerson5792 (I'm) not done with you. Not they or we which can be taken as he alone will be taking some type of action against her. Personally I would fear for my well being.

Why? Evidence of texts by Proctor showed why. 8) why did Fairfield homeowners IMMEDIATELY re-home their dog after YEARS of having it? who did they give the dog to? Why did no one ever track down dog? 9) Why did homeowners coordinate w/others @ who were at Fairfield that night after tip off of FBI investigation if no tip off abt FBI - delete cell phone data, destroyed their phones + SIM card & delete phone data & did this all asap 10) Why did they show inverted video then @ cross immediately advised it was mirrored & reversed showing Proctor & others spending time at the taillight & rear of SUV? 11) Why does that footage show a person appear out of nowhere in video? Video seems tampered with. 12) How can you believe she’s guilty after hearing experts saying SUV didn’t & couldn’t have struck him? 13) There was NO injuries from the neck down, nothing on chest or abdomen. NO blood, body tissue, clothing found on rear of SUV let alone damage to SUV. When someone’s struck by vehicle there’s dents & blood etc. 14) Expert witnesses explained the PHYSICS why SUV didn’t hit him. CW put someone NOT qualified & speculating that SUV struck him which defies physics. 15) did anyone nor yourself consider putting into context why KR said she hit him. Did you consider she was saying that as a question? trying to reconcile what happened? She’s trying in her mind to figure out how this happened. Then realized/discovered there was nothing on SUV showing impact w/him. 16) Evidence of timeline show CW’s timeline wrong. KR was at home at 12:34? I believe… 17) during a blizzard no way any debris - such as a glass would be left on SUV even after being towed. No way a hair could also be on SUV & if so JO was in & out of SUV soooo many times before. Just focus on the facts and evidence as presented at trial- if you found yourself as a juror. Please advise why you stand by your Guilty stance Remember legally “Not Guilty” doesn’t mean “Innocent” it just means there wasn’t enough evidence to show “Guilt beyond a reasonable doubt” Please help me understand your reasoning, honesty- not being snarky or anything just looking for some understanding.

As an Australian, I read some of the comments about KR’s facial expressions and demeanour and think of the famous ‘dingo ate my baby’ case. Lindy and Michael Chamberlain were judged incredibly harshly by the media because they didn’t react how people thought they ‘should’, because Lindy didn’t cry publicly about her daughter. And yet evidence proved her innocent of any crime. I’d hate to think that we’re 40 years down the track and still deciding someone’s validity based on their facial expressions or emotions.
May the OKeefe family find peace and find the to grieve in private. Having lost people for me the grief doesn’t go away I just learnt to live with it.RIP OFFICER John ❤️
I don’t know if it’s the most retrials ever, but Curtis Flowers was tried 6 times for a quadruple homicide he didn’t commit in Mississippi. The prosecution was relentless in trying to get charges to stick. Some ended in mistrials and some ended in conviction, all of which were overturned, ultimately by the Supreme Court. He was held on death row for 20 years because of an over-zealous prosecutor, who stacked the deck against him. These things happen every day in our country. The news just doesn’t report on it.
I think the CW will be hard pressed to find jurors that will stand with his side at a re- trial. You were even able to tell by going outside and seeing the amount of people standing up for KR. Mr. Lally needs to concede that he's lost a case that never should've been tried in the first place.
Poor Okeef family. I'm not sure what happened, but I feel there was reasonable doubt. I do feel that everyone involved was guilty of bad bad behaviour, Drinking driving, and just plain bad people
The FBI could render the next trial obsolete if it starts charging these corrupt shysters as they should be charged for corruption, and eventually the commonwealth will have no case to present

I'm not finished, I'm going to push to retry, I'm suing you civilly, I will keep looking for evidence...... Not threats, just information. Stupid thing to say but given the emotions, understandable.
If neither lawyer wants to introduce it, then it won't be put into evidence. If both sides are willing to stipulate to entering in the video after fixing the reverse, then that will happen. If Lally doesn't want to get hammered again, he'd just let the corrected video be what gets shown.
@@zirconiumdiamond1416 yes I would think Lally would prefer not to put it in but showing the jury that it was originally put in while reversed helped to show some kind of coverup . This was one of the footage that had me believe the cops were trying to set Karen up. I hope they have to use it the same way. This trial is going to take forever now.
I’m absolutely baffled , if jurors don’t understand forensic evidence they shouldn’t be on a jury , yes it was a long complicated trial but the last witnesses were clear and credible
I'm convinced it was murder, I'm just not convinced it was Karen who did it. I'm convinced that he was not hit by a car and I'm also convinced that the lead investigator was biased in favor of other place and did not properly investigate them. Everything I'm convinced of could be right and she could still have been the murderer but I don't think the prosecution did a good enough job to convince me of that
It's unreal to me that one person would find anyone guilty of murder and beyond a reasonable doubt for hitting someone when that's not how they died. 😮😮😮 just shows how unpredictable and reasonable a jury of your peers can be
To be fair, Aunt Bev wouldn't let them know that the defense's accident reconstructionist was independently hired by FBI. Otherwise, I suspect that even Proctor would've had to have voted NG. Now that lots and lots of people know what's up, KR should walk next time. But we'll see whether the Canton mafia works its magic behind the scenes.
There are some people in this chat think she is not guilty and some think she is guilty. It’s the same with the general public. Why would it be different with the jurors? Or the families on both sides? I wish I had a way of proving it but despite personally believing not guilty I called ‘hung jury’ from the jump
Yep. Even before this went to trial, there was such a split. And it’s continued. I think more people have gone to the not guilty side than they were before though.
The idea that the prosecution would want to try this case again just because the defense came after Canton PD, State Police, the prosecution, etc. is understandable only because it is consistent with the sheer incompetence we've seen at every step of this process. The investigation was INDEFENSIBLE. The reason why the defense was able to hammer so hard on Canton PD et al. was because they were an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE, and the fact that the DA's office decided to go ahead with the case anyway puts them in the same boat. There is no rehabilitating their reputation - and retrying the case will only make public perception of Canton PD and the MA DA's office even worse. I hope they get steamrollered by the feds. Fuck Proctor.
Foreperson being picked by Bev had nothing to do with it. This case is tough. I think she side swiped him but didn’t realize he was bleeding in the yard. Where and how Chloe fits in I don’t know. I also could not put her away for anymore than 2 years. But it’s a difficult case.
This was cut & dry MORE than I e ever seen. Never witnessed anything like this- it didn't require any rationalizing or even comprehension... there was so little evidence I could trust or find reliable, & any useful/reliable evidence was not related to the indictments enough to EVEN humor the potential for rising to the standard of reasonable doubt.
PLEASE TELL ME IF U FEEL THE SAME THE JURY INSTRUCTIONS were absolutely wrong and disturbing, I FEEL, it is obvious that the jury has no fking clue. The judge was looking for a conviction. That's what she wanted, I feel the judge was ether paid or she is behind the corruption 🤔? What do u think
I'm interested in the evidence presented to the grand jury? I'm shocked at the lack of evidence presented in this trial. Wondering if there was a confession in her police interview? Having watched every day of this trial, I'm so confused how people firmly believe she's guilty.
