The story for the DLC is that all 3 LLs heard about something called "Lustriabowl" and showed up for a proper scrap.

Honestly, it's so refreshing to see a content creator as positive and still realistic as you. Just hearing you get excited about this dlc adds to the (already massive) excitement I feel about this game and its current state.

Love the fact that CA is just being so much more out in the open with their plans and dropping meaty patches.

It was interesting how from Ogres to Khorne to Orcs there were less and less ingame stuff to show. So you can see which faction they started with and who is last

Themetically I do like the idea of Ogres vs Greeenskins vs Khorne. They are all races who love combat. Sure in different ways or degrees like Khorne loves it for the sheer bloodshed and murder, Ogres care more for the fact that they will get fed or paid afterwards, Greenskins just like fightin'.

I hope they stick to this type of reveal scenario, it gets rid of the bullshit and doesn't make it any less exciting at least imo. Can't wait for the release and many thanks sotek for your boundless knowledge and enthusiasm can't wait for your prediction/lore videos

With a dlc with the head maneater, we better finally get heavy armored maneaters dangit. Also I've suggested it before and I'll say it again. Crushers could take pistols in tabletop. A mournfang or crusher variant with dual pistols like monstrous pistoliers would be dope AF.

This was a great thing to put out to quiet all the talk about the game ending in a year. People kept saying ohh well we will get end times and then it will be over.

My preference for black orcs is to have two variants, each with their own pair of weapons to switch between: Black orcs with Big Choppa (what we have, AP generalists) and dual choppas (for non-AP anti infantry, like the Bladesingers can do) And a new black orc with choppa and shield, or a two-handed halberd (anti large AP choppa-sticka) That way you’ve got one version that’s more aggressive, and the other that’s more defensive, but each can still fill two roles. Oh, and Da Crimson Killaz can keep their dual-wielding Big Choppas (give them anti-infantry along with the AP) and can switch to a big shield and halberd (55% missile block and AP anti large), to make them truly Da Best!

By Gork and Mork, so glad we got Gorbad Ironclaw for greenskins. I do like Tinnit Foureyes, but the fact that we didnt have Gorbad or Gorfang for the greenies just felt wrong.

I badly want a Tomb King update, but I know other factions are in even more desperate need of help.

About ladders (around 2h27min etc), Empire Total War does not have ladders, but grabbling hooks and ropes, but also, that they are single use only (if you cancel rising using ropes, they cannot use them again, also other units cannot use the ropes...although they do not vanish graphically, so you could question why so...). I personally think, that maybe only certain units could have ability to rise walls, like some sneaky units, and some what are famous from it. But not all those units which are now able to do so. Maybe dexterius units, lot of skavens, maybe elves? I don't know...

Loved this interview. I'm so happy that they stuck to the plan from the start by fleshing out all the chaos gods. FLC Khorne LL is amazing knowing Khorne will get ToD treatment

Words can't describe how hype I am. We are back. CA is listening and the future looks bright. If we are getting thrones of decay size and quality again, I'm happy to wait. Clearly they want the cash cow to milk again. I plan to do my part. If this gets read, I like the teaser. Drip feeding is better than silence.

Arbaal the Undefeated would be fine by me as the 100th LL and put him in Cathay/Ind. Although then we should also get Caradryan, the captain of the Phoenix Guard who actually defeated him (granted when he was Incarnate of Aqshy but he still won). A Vampire Counts DLC should have Neferata as the LL for the Lahmians and Abhorash for Blood Dragons at least.

For Hobgoblin Khanate CA must redesign the Hobgoblins to have a proper physique. Longer torsos. Really was looking forward to them in the Chaos Dwarf DLC and then we just got upscaled Night goblins. Hobgoblins should almost be as tall as an Orc but thin.

Bretonnia should get Bertrand the Brigand (LL) and the Bowmen of Bergerac. Both Hugo le Petit and Guis le Gros as his LH’s. Make the faction “Bowmen of Bergerac” a hybrid horde with the ability to ambush. Herrimaults, Faceless One heroes. Add Duke Bohemond the Beastslayer and Duke Theoderic of Brionne as unique Lords or full LL’s. Fix the Green Knight with a proper Skill Tree. Give Damsels a better model.

I hope we get brand new units for slaanesh. Units centered around anything other than lust. Also if possible one of the interim updates they could do is to give Greasus a better "throne" of some kind.

Immortal empires shouldve been the focus since it's release. Its the same as WH2 once the big sandbox map came out thats what 95% of the community plays. The scale is what people want.

I think we need transparency now especially given how jittery the situation was, so making sure we know what's coming is good, speculation was pretty good in the past but we saw it's a double edged sword so clarity is going to be best from now on

I'd say my 1 criticism of this roadmap vs last years, is that last time they told us what was in the DLC following the upcoming one, and a strong hint at what was coming after that (granted that changed). But then again we are getting another update late summer so if we get more information per year just spread out over 2-3 of these style of videos then that criticism ceases to be an issue - outside of me wanting to know who Slaanesh is facing now!

Norsca need Sturmjarl as the shaman LL, Beorg Bearstruck as the werekin LL, Mona Mimn as the monster/fimir caster LL and lastly either Keorl Thunderhand, Hildr or Adella of the Thousand Mouths. As for Legendary heroes they could use either Ugma, The Ravenswyrd, Murdaich, Hagar Whitefang or Aygar Mistletaine.

Blood Vultures are very thematic for Ogres too.

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

Nagash and Thanquol if a good dlc would be such a banger for warhammer fans how thanqoul and boneripper were added already is saddening truthfully, especially as i recently started playing vermintide 2 in lieu of total war dil the dlc drops and the last mission is essentially a thanqoul and boneripper homage, im hella keen, soon hopefully.

What everyone should be screaming is "IND AND KHURESH". Because if you don't do it now, it'll never happen, and we'll have a huge piece of the map empty and without some of the absolute coolest factions and units you can imagine.

Wait, are these characters going to be in RoC map? I get it's the less popular mood, I still find it fun as a focused 1st campaign with new characters.

Tyrant model in game should be changed to be the Bruiser hero and CA should add a new model as a Tyrant. We need a more “flashy” model for a Tyrant.

With them mentioning getting content and reworks with updates I'm hoping we get egrimm van horstman. He will be perfect to include if reworking the cultists also really annoying tzeentch has 2 lords

Squigg units: colossal and pair squigs, and i want goblin biguns if we dont get orc with spears give us better gobla. Believe slaughter brute allowed for WC to recruit for khornate warband. And still waiting support character with warshrine mount.

I think they were planning on doing something big for lord 100, but I think that with how things have gone over the year or so that they probably dropped it.

I disagree on the End Times units in so far that the only reason there is a distinction between a lot of the AoS things and very similar WHFB things is GWs insanity of keeping the model ranges separate for no good reason. Sure, there are things that are very specific for AoS, but in some cases, even that is literally just the names they decided to give to the units and/or some specific details on the models that could easily be modified to fit better. Especially the mortal sides of Blades of Khorne and Hedonites of Slaanesh could all be added as specialized sidegrades or upgrades to fitting marked units, be it Marauders or Chaos Warriors.

Don't wanna be a party pooper but CA just talked about reworks for VC and Norsca. That doesn't mean these races will get automatically a guaranteed Dlc. We still don't know how many Dlc we have left before CA decides to stop supporting the game, so we shouldn't get carried away by enthusiasm and hype just because Ca talked about Reworks.

It's funny, they almost did it in order of my favorite to least favorite. Just change Tzeentch and Nurgle around. So Nurgle, Tzeentch, Khorne, Slaanesh (I do not care at all about Slaanesh).

We won't see Slaanesh until next summer, I bet.
