He almost got the 3-13 skip. But he failed to manipulate the AI with a luck faye to kill alm earlier. If faye didnt have that 1%crit the run would been more optimized
I think Mekkah has struck gold, this dynamic of him and Ryn reacting to Mangs' "gameplay" can keep generating highly enjoyable content at a comparatively low production cost, until Mangs has ironmanned every last one of them or gives up. Actually I wouldn't mind getting the uncut versions of these, I cannot imagine I would ever find them boring even with a lower concentration of highlights and I would certainly appreciate the increase in volume.
Mekkah casually asking if Silque "has a booty" followed by Ryn just breaking is the high quality content I expect from this channel. Also shoutouts to the soldier boys.
This was so, so sad. The run should have ended on 3-13 Merc. I cried when he went for Faye and not Alm, because Mangs survived far longer than he deserved to. Edit: I know it’s been said before by a ton of people, but it’s fun to see how Ryn has steadily become more bloodthirsty and anti-Mangs as these failed runs start piling up. These reaction streams and VoDs are a joy to watch.
i think what really triggers it is that mangs keeps doing worse and worse reach attempt, the FE6 and 7 runs? can't blame him for those, but FE8, FE5, and this? yeah tis on him
I know there's the pressure of a livestream and entertainment value to consider, but Mangs' carelessness goes beyond that. There's forgetting to check stats/range, and there's rushing to attack without even glancing at the combat forecast .
@@Malhonn Not only that but if he's going to Ironman something, everything needs to be checked. Leaving Alm out in the open with three exposed sides without checking enemy speed or anything is just bad.
How is he doing worst and worst every time? He's reached Zephiel in Fe6? is life working on Negative Growth System? Where experience at playing Iron Man Runs makes you worst each time?
He respects FE6 and took the time to address threats reasonably. On a fundamental level he doesn't respect Echoes, he thinks it's so easy that it's not worth looking at the numbers or taking any kind of precaution.
He took fe6 seriously because he knew that the game was difficult. He didn't take fe7 serious because its "way easier" than fe6. It's correct to a degree but it made him beyond careless. (I mean, he managed to get early unkillable Units killed like Marcus, Oswin and Pent) In fe8, he overdid it with ramping up the difficulty with the growths, being even more careless than in fe7 and starting to meme too much. (Also Cormag, the run would have ended there anyway, with or without growths) And Echoes it's now even worse. He let community decide the classes for the memes (bad idea) and didn't pay any sort attention because "echoes beginning is so easy". Maybe the enxt try with Echoes, he'll try to meme elss and pay more attention. But i'd say he won't get further than Nuibaba or oneof those nice archer chapters on Celicas side that i usually solo SLOWLY with Leon. He's way too impatient to do that though.
He just doesn't think. The leather shield mercenary and the cavalier maps are easy if you are patient. All he had to do was end turn after attacking the merc with Alm and Kliff, then finish him next turn.
In honor of Mangs's own incompetence, and because I was one of the people memeing for cavs over soldiers, I started my own ironman of this game with all villagers promoting into cavs and I'm already past Mangs while deathless. It's amazing how easily he gets units killed even in advantageous situations.
0:55 I understand that having one personality trait is bad for characters in a fictional story, but its not too different from some people I've met IRL. Myself included. All I talk about is dungeons and dragons with my friends and its amazing how none of them are annoyed by it. I literally talk about nothing else. It literally is "my character trait" if I was a character in a fictional game. I understand why people don't like the one-note characters, and I do agree that it is a bit much, but I don't feel like all the hate and negativity is justified fullied.
What Blake said, but also the difference in depth between "Dungeons and Dragons" and "I like one person" is humongous. I do agree though one-note characters are "fine" in a game where character writing isn't a focus, but they're rarely my favourites. They aren't necessary for a fire emblem game to be good, but they aren't the reason so many of us obsess over the series.

Wow. WOW. It's official. Mangs is the worst Fire Emblem player ever. Before, I wanted him to do Fates Birthright so that he could actually finish an ironman, but if this was any indication, he would find a way to lose at that game too!

23:33 people don't appreciate that Gaiden has the best end game in FE. Duma's Tower and Duma's Shrine had random/gimmicky yet interesting surprises one after another. I wish Echoes had stayed faithful to that.
*Warning* The following comment may contain spoilers for a nearly thirty year old game, if you care about that sort of thing, don't click read more. One thing I really miss is how during the final dungeon, Celica's party would be continually taking damage all throughout, and you'd be getting notified of this. If you were too slow, her party would be in pretty dire shape. It made the finale more intense, it made the world feel more alive.

This is the thing of legend and a reason why we all needed "Mangs Massacre" Pitfalls 11x It's like you took a guy who played all FE, somehow finished them all and then the same guy makes mistakes even noobs would not make in their first game.
I mean not defending mangs here because he played really badly but I don't think it's fair to call this game the easiest yet when you remove turnwheel. I think the just the fact the rng is so inconsistent makes this game pretty challenging especially in Iron Man.

im pretty sure mangs has done worse on each run. He got to the last chapter in FE6, pretty far in 7 and thracia, and this one ended on the first stream. if he does shadow dragon next hes probably just going to die to die on the first chapter

Get his chat to get Mang to play Shining Force, because one I grew up with that game and maybe it'll maybe for some great meme considering how much easier than Echoes it is. Please make it the Genesis verson for that juicy Mang% on the 2nd map or him getting Arther the late bloomer dead.
Poor Mangs seemed to be in his "brainfreeze" state from the start. He didn't check enemy stats, range, he basically had no strategy at all. Sure it can work when your units are OP, but exposing your Lord like that is too dangerous. I really want him to beat one Ironman, but he will have to focus. Otherwise he's probably capable of failing PoR too
I hope he runs this game again. This is the best of the post-DS fire emblem games in my opinion. This math-impaired egg needs to learn how good Echoes is.
All he needed to do after messing up with faye is just surround him with everyone but not attack, heal faye. Alm can take 2 hits. Unless the merc got a 1 percent crit she would be fine. Move Faye away afterwards and and fill in with tobin on grey. Have kliff blast him with magic till he dies. This run highlighted two problems of mangs. 1. He just to solve everything by ganging up on it or 2. He tries juggarnauting everything. First got Faye killed, Second got Alm killed
