Well, my favourite Pokemon has finally shined! I started this hunt pretty much right after my last phase for Mareep; I wasn't really able to focus on it too hard until recently because that last month of school was really hectic! That being said, I have been hunting like crazy the past few days and it has certainly paid off!
Here is the video comparing times between the different methods of hunting fossils in Platinum - • FASTEST FOSSIL RESETS!...
This marks the beginning of my Platinum Fossil Quest [PFQ], which by the end, may very well turn into a Fossil Quest across all the games (I love me some fossil Pokemon!). Either way, I am really happy I could tick this one off the list. This hunt is generally straight forward, but if you have any questions, you can ask and I'll answer to the best of my abilities. This is my first time doing a hunt like this where it isn't just straight SRs or REs. It was certainly a little difficult to get used to, but the time save was worth it and each reset has a decent flow. I will likely hunt Aerodactyl next because I want to try the straight soft reset on it, as I don't wanna spend the next three months trying to dig up 10 Old Ambers lol. Although, this method is faster, I wondered if maybe the straight SRs would be easier because I had to focus on my games more than I'm really used to with this method. That being said, as I said previously, it did get much easier after a little while.
Next up, I am gonna try to finish a phase in Pattern Bush on my FrLg games. My LG is absolutely cooked with like 25k encounters without a shiny, so I wanna pop that on (hopefully Heracross for my FrLg DTQ) a phase for Heracross for my upcoming FrLg DTQ before Safari Week. If that hunt is quick, I will likely start a random encounter hunt in Platinum. I REALLY wanna hunt many spring/ summer themed targets in Platinum right now and I hate to say it, but Safari Week is kinda killing my buzz rn lmao. I am excited for it, but it's coming in way too hot!
