Hi Bob. I did indeed wear the PADI turtle for the day and really enjoyed our rather novel selection process too (I’ll be doing that again!). The clasp does actually have a safety mechanism (I think it has to in order to meet ISO divers watch standards?) but you probably heard my comments on how much cheaper it feels than the rest of the watch, in any case it doesn’t really detract too much from the wearing experience, just a mere fly in the ointment.
