@@LIVINGINTHEQUADCITIES I've lived here for 41 years. We've never had a tornado go through town lol. Only thing we've ever had to damage through town was a Derecho 4-5 years back.

I live on the other side of the river. A few things that turn me off about Davenport... the smell of the Purina factory, the gang activity, & urban-industrial wasteland. On the Illinois side, there's also gang problems & industrial issues. They didn't build infrastructure for cars to bypass long trains (such as underpass or overpass bridges). I like living here just for the variety of towns, & scenic spots along the river. I'd like to retire to somewhere out of the city though. This 4th of July rendered 5 straight days of people shooting off fireworks. Being middle-aged; that gets annoying quick.

I remember watching a shed float down duck Creek. Most of the houses in that area have been demolished. And the flood of '93 was epic

We haven't really experienced that around here. It may be that way down river from us; I do not know, but as of right now we haven't seen it this year.

There was a time in the 90s that it was low enough to walk down on the riverbed. There's actually ladders along the other side of the wall near Centennial park.

These are a fascinating series of videos. This man has a sense of humor 30 years ahead of his time. In High School if I were assigned to create a 6:32 video this is the type of content I would formulate at my locker and scribble down before walking into class. Plenty of talking but no actual information, and the pros or cons are never the actual pros or cons of the Quad Cities. He didn’t mention bridge traffic ONCE in this video, which leads me to believe he doesn’t actually live here, and is trolling people wasting their time with Wikipedia nonsense tips & info. (The whole pig smell thing 😂) Which I fully respect and applaud ✊

Davenport isn't bad At all.... Keokuk is the only real bad place here

Keokuk is population 10. U can literally drive through Keokuk in less than two minutes. Unless you mean bad as in absolutely nothing to do, otherwise Keokuk is just a small community made up predominantly meth heads
