It is such a risk to travel alone and meet strangers and turn them into friends but i can only imagine the joy and memories it brings. To become old and look at a globe and remember people from all over the world who became part of your journey. I think that’s worth the risk. Always take care, Susi! Enjoy 🤗
This summer I've spent a month alone at 17 in Scotland and for the whole time I felt very safe, I met some random strangers whom I became friend with and traveled with them day and night. I would have never done something similar in my country, not because it's more unsafe but because it's something out of my comfort zone, I think that when you travel you have to be opened to "survive" and take the most out of your experience.
@@aishakissi723 I'm sure that there's some kind of bias in most people's perception of this phenomenon. The media will widely promote a tragedy story of hitch-hiking or backpacking gone wrong but will not publish thousands of stories where it goes very well.
Susi, we care about you.. please be very mindfull when selecting the wood for your fireplace. Please choose only un-treated wood, raw, natural, dry, dead cured from nature. We dont want to see you getting sick from burning treated wood that has chemicals... Be safe Susi 💜
I saw some wood with paint on it and I got super worried! I think some of that stuff can have toxic gases when you burn them that you definitely don't want in your lungs or your beatiful van.
I just wanted to say how much I love you all . I can not put into words how much I appreciate your support during my journey . I feel like I have the greatest community EVER. Always Stay Happy x Always know if you don't believe in yourself I do . 💕
Susi Cruz are recording in c log with your Sony camera 📸?? Your colorgrade looks little bit dead... check your options so your footage would look better but I still enjoy it tho :)
Your living the dream!!..Your doing exactly what most women wish they could do..Your brave and fierce!!..watching you every step of the way and very proud of You!!
I like your bed table for eating. And how great it is to have a shower indoors. I also enjoyed all of the delightful people along your path. There really is so much sweetness in life. I'm glad you can experience so much of it. Thank you for sharing!
You’re such a fucking survivor and I love it girl. You really inspired me. I been living in my car for 3 months now and I always watch your videos to keep me going! Keep posting !
im so happy to see you back and glowing so much from enjoying Van life again. Im happy that you decided to continue your dream. All your hard work has paid off Susi, I am so proud of you. From seeing you barely building your home to now, you have progressed and learned so much as a person, as well as teaching and giving us content and I Thank you for that. Please be safe out there.
Wow Jaca is my town😂😂 The train station was built during the civil war to connect Spain with France, and if you walk inside, you would see that it’s divided in two halfs, one was for the nazzis and the other one was for the spanish. They did a lot of exanganges there beteween them The station itself is still working, but the building was abandoned and the trains no longer cross the Pyrenees to France
You are very brave, Susi. I just wish you well and travel safely always. I admire your high-spirited vibe. I am concerned when you enter an abandoned building and its quite getting dark, I think you should have done it earlier. Anyway, be careful always. Mwaaa! Safe travels! Love lots!!!!!
what i dont see often is ppl praising you on your language skills, your fluent in 3 /4 languages and also speak some spanish and french, you're an inspiration :D
hey just a tip to keep your hatchet in shape and useful for longer, don't chop wood on stone, it will dull the blade really fast. chop it on either dirt or other wood for a more long lasting blade and also then you won't have to sharpen it often.
I found you a couple years ago and every time you post something I drop everything and watch your video when I grow up I want to be just like you I want to have a RU-vid channel and live in a van so one day I hope I see you your my idol.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ P.S. I watch your videos over and over agin that’s why I am putting my comment on this video
You attract sweet soals your a magnent for whole hearted folks I think if I ran into you we would talk and laugh for hours upon hours, u have the best little life just remember not all people have pure intentions so dont let your gurd down and be careful always trust your gut instinct. Peace ❤😃-Andrea❤👣
Hi, nice van and good setup, that work for you. I recommend you get a folding saw, it's a lot easier to cut it instead of chop it. Check for Bahco Laplander, Silky, also Fiskars make good ones, like you axe. And as long there is good ventilation, no problem to burn treated wood. Cheers
Seit Wochen schau ich mir Van Life Videos an und wenn du nicht meine neue lieblings-van-life-youtuberin bist weiß ich auch nicht omg... Schockverliebt in deinen Van!
Can you please do a day in the life of Peño video??!! What does he do when he wakes up? What are his favorite kind of adventures? He’s so cute! I want to see the world from his perspective!!
Where can I get this van layout? video? do you have anything on the wood burner, electrical for tv and the rest?. I mean seriously this layout I see is like the most practical,cabin-like hotel-motel set up I have seen. the wood burner is awesome why pay for propane when you can go off to a wooded area and get what you need.
Really good fire starting tip I use at home. Take either dryer lent or cotton balls. Roll them in Vaseline. Put them under your little pile of wood and bam. You got a hassle free fire
I’m new to this channel so this might be repetitive, but where / how do you work ? like what’s your job & how hard is it to do it while traveling like this ?
Hi Susie I am so proud of you you are living your real dream what an amazing life you have but please be very very mindful of your surroundings.. God bless you and God protect you and your amazing travels 🙏❤️
I was asking the same question! We Americans are so spoiled because we can travel for HOURS and still communicate in English. Those of us who still have our immigrant parents around are bilingual and those who have a true love of learning and travel are multilingual. I'm so happy I can speak Spanish but I would like to get an app to learn French and Italian as well.
I can barely speak English and it's the only language I know lol but here she is speaking multiple languages effortlessly. I would love to learn another language, but there's so many beautiful languages to chose from I don't which I would want try to learn.
Yvette Scheiman duolingo is a app you can learn multiple languages there. I personally can can speak german and English and I try to learn norwegian and korean too maybe one day Spanish too
@@mops7081 I'm german. And I only can speak german and english (but not so well) so many languages are beautyful like italien and french. But with english you understand so much. So I can watch those fantastic videos and I understand them. If we are in other countries around, the most understand english too, and if not: take your hands and feet 🤗
Does the dog stay inside the van while you snowboard? If so, do you usually leave the heat inside the van for the dog? I’m thinking of doing van life and I’ve got a dog. So this is one problem I need to solve when I go for skiing and stuff like that.
You should get a folding hand saw they’re pretty cheap and really useful for cutting against the grain of wood. Axes don’t do so well against the grain. Check out a bahco laplander they’re cheap, light, small and super useful
Susi i live in a very small town in kentucky close to Lexington you´ve made my week i love your videos and cant wait to see where you go next!!! I wish i could travel it looks so fun i love your free wild style!!! Xoxoxoxox
Suzy when you chop wood if you chop on concrete you will dull your blade chop on dirt or another bigger piece of wood.check out some bush craft videos.
İ discovered your channel last night and i see ,i think 11 video and i like your life in van soooo muchh Your are amazing and very cute continue like thıs 💜💜
I really enjoy watching your videos. The adventures you have are amazing. It seems like a life i would enjoy as well.. the little oven (kamin) is great. Where did you get that one. When i did some research what i found out was that it is only sold in Canada. I'm planning on buying a camper van as well and would love to have one too as i want to travel in winter as well as summer. Can you help me here. Be safe on your travels. Greetings aus Deutschland 😉
Some axe tips: First if you don't have safety glasses at least wear your sunglasses. Next, at that size you want to cut your wood with the grain. That is, make your cuts along the length instead of across. And don't use stone or other extremely hard surfaces to rest your wood on, you will dull your axe and can injure your wrists and arms. Instead rest your wood to cut on a rotted log, or another piece of wood, or even the ground. It will give with the impact so you don't injure your joints from cutting. Again I am really inspired by your sense of gratitude and lust for life!! Nice music!
Idk if you mentioned this before or not, but how do you power the van ? Is it with gas ? And if it is how do you make sure you have enough for the long travels?
I just absolutely love ❤️ the new adventures your van has taken you two on! The landscape is just breathtaking! Absolutely phenomenal videos! I love ❤️ to watch them😎☀️🌞🌎👍🏻💯😉😊❤️
Hello Thank you for sharing your videos. I love the new look of your van. 👍 You so happy on this video the mountains look so beautiful. Drive safe and give a hug to your dog. Have a bless day
so when traveling with a dog, when you leave the van how do you ensure the safety when it comes to temperature? I would love to do this but leaving my dog in a hot van would be a no no:/
I'm so happy for you being blessed by these strangers! It just shows that if your heart is open God only knows what can happen! I just subbed to your channel to see what is coming up in your life! Stay open and stay safe and have fun!!
Hi Susi! Thank you so much for doing a winter/ski/snowboard vanlife video... there aren't enough out there! I'd like to install a cubic mini in my campervan soon. Could you please link the tiny pot that you used to make rice in? I'd like to order one! :)
Hello Suzi ! I assume you will get to France by Somport tunnel ? If so, you will be near the city Oloron Sainte Marie and you need to go to two places : artigarede bakery and ask for a Russe which is a very very very good cake ! And Lindt Factory shop to get some good chocolate for cheap ! :) And then head to basque country, the best place in the world ♥️
hey susi! i'm 100% buying a van soon and converting it, but there's a question allways in my mind.. What do you do with your dog? i have one and i want to go snowboarding whole season so i'm also wondering how is he/she in the van or how you do it. Thanks!!!
Hey suzi next time try a d find natural wood from trees because the wood planks you use could have a toxic cure on it that would be harmful to burn in a small space
What a great idea for the stove and the indoor shower but I am curious how you do number 1 and 2? I am not caught up with your videos if you have solar or not you can plug single convection stove no need to buy propane
