@@MamaCarola1 Yes, I'm always on the lookout for those things, items, places, etc. that I believe is representative of good environmental design. In this case, how much better can it get other than someone standing right next to you to hand you a fresh towel?

@@MamaCarola1 Well, I suppose an argument could be made that a person standing right next to the other could be warming the towel (wink) but I'm sure that there are devices that could appropriately fit the space that warms the towels and probably some with timers too.

That's exactly what I said in my comments. I lived in a brownstone on E 51st St. , the front of the apt opened all the way across with folding French doors, and I loved it until I saw a guy across the street with his binoculars pointed into my living room. A good example of "you learn by your mistakes" ...lol.

Staring out at a car lot just didn't appeal to me, luxury cars or not.

@@kgrant3184 Cash is a tactile person. He has to touch things. Ever notice how he goes crazy with anything with buttons? He has to push them all. I don't know how he resists that when he gets on an elevator.

@@Bobrogers99 True, but someone is obviously LIVING in that apartment, and would likely not even THINK about needing to wash their CLEAN dishes in the cupboard before they use them. Would YOU want someone's grubby hands - UNKNOWINGLY - all over your clean dishes? Not me, SHUDDER. (Not to ignore all of the grubby finger prints on the bathroom vanity mirrors and his dirty footprints from wearing his shoes in the showers/ tubs, from his apt. tours - usually AFTER the unit has been cleaned for showing... 😕) I like Cash's vids very much - he is intelligent, very witty & amusing, does great neighbourhood tours, and gives balanced apt. reviews. However, he ia ALSO *very* disrepectful to OTHERS' property, and has nearly broken MANY things - and handles, etc. HAVE come off when he man-handles things. When I go back to his old vids, he does not seem to do this to the same degree, but it seems to have become his schtick. I guess I have a different perspective from most, as I managed a university residence of 1000 single uni students, and then later an apt. building for many years, and I got more than my fill of res. students/ apt. tenants also being disrespctful, AND had to evict several of them for those things/ property damage. My JOB was to both represent the landlord's AND the residents'/ tenants' interests, which I did, fighting for repairs and helpful changes if the landlord wasn't so willing, AND ensuring the landlord's property wasn't abused, AND trying to keep all residents/ tenants & their things safe. When I took over the apt. building, it was dirty & run down, had drug dealers on the bottom floor, and other unruly, disrepectful tenants I cleaned it up, got great tenants in there - by carefully observing how they acted just in the apt. tours, and created a much safer, cleaner, more friendly & better-running building, and the long-term tenants often commented to me on the improvements. So, ya, I have a different perspective - plus was RAISED to respect others' things from young. And alas, as I've seen from MANY comments, folks - likely under 35, find it AMUSING when Cash does his rough treatment of premises. As an "influencer", further alas, there will be many who "monkey see, monkey DO". The elevator-crap is a case in point - only children or very immature people do that - it actually can f*ck up the elevator functioning, and does NOT make the elevator move faster. ADD/ ADHD, maybe? Other than those things, I think that he does a GREAT job on the tours - though I wonder how the heck ANYONE can afford such expensive rents in NY - what do they do for work that gives them the ability to spend thousands on rent each month? Anyway, maybe TMI, but, Cheers!

@@kgrant3184 I have to agree with you. The slamming of doors, the standing in bathtubs, the handling of things, the pushing of buttons, etc. all show disrespect for the property of others. But as you say, it's part of his schtick, and in this occupied unit the tenant must have given permission. Usually it's not an occupied apartment, and apparently the landlord feels that the free showing is worth potential damage. Cash is a talented showman and he's gathered a large audience, so for him his methods work. I just couldn't do it his way.

Evidently, a lot of people could afford to live in NYC, even though a lot of New Yorkers are moving out of of the city, it's still has the highest population in the US. Maybe it's because of the opportunities & salaries. NYC, is a hustle & bustle city so people do what they have to do to survive. I know as a New Yorker myself!!!

One thing about New York people don’t take into consideration is that you don’t need a car to live there.

@@theoriginalbridgetconnors not humble bragging, just the major difference between housing markets 🤷 I worked my ass off to be able to afford my home just like New Yorkers have but NYC seems to be pricing a lot of people out of the city and that's a shame. NYC is amazing but not at the expense of pricing folks out of their homes. LA/San Francisco etc. is the same way it seems.
