LaVonda shares her experiences living off-grid near in Costa Arriba near Colon, on the Caribbean side of Panama. She and her husband sailed to Panama on their 44 Gulfstar Ketch boat. They live on a 32-acre farm surrounded by natural beauty, monkeys, sloths, and fruit trees.

Interesting lady. I left Panama for the first time as a crew in a sale boat 40 years ago. That's s how I got to the US. I am glad that you feel home in Panama.

We left Annapolis, MD Oct 20, 2017 and arrived in Panama Dec 22, 2017. Total under sail time is 2 weeks. We were docked longer in many places. We were in Mexico for 10 days, Cayman Islands 2 weeks, a week in Key West, twelve days in Port Canaveral, etc.
