I am 65 years old and I have realized that for me having a connection to nature is always the way. Just moving out of the US and re-creating what I have here is not fulfilling. I just watched a woman named maroon goddess who bought land in Jamaica and is living off grid reconnecting with mama Earth. I think if I was younger this is what I would do. Anyway keep the videos coming, ask the universe what to do next and above all be open and listen.

As a person that was born in Grenada and lived in St. Patricks i'd say there is more of a community feel there. The city can be a bit isolating, people keep to themselves. I think your kids will love it as well. Always a lot of other kids to play with. I feel you the country life is more of an authentic Grenadian experience.

i made the move from london also in 2010, not to a gated community but to my family home that was left empty for over 10 years, i was in my late 40,s and can say i have not regretted it for one day, i now live and work on the island of grenada in an old house on the beach in marquis st andrew,s. i left behind my grown up children and beautiful grandchildren, but also stressful work life poor health and a restless spirit. i have gained balance that i did not have before. life has its ups and downs but i am glad that i did it when i did. thank you for you inspiring channel its good to know that others are following their calling for a better balanced way of life, with all it comes with

100% agreed Zoe! Recent events have shown me that I need to let go of my previous assumptions about what life should look like, and trust in the process a bit more. Part of that trust is going for what I really want, which is to grow my own food, and live a more environmentally sustainable, simpler life. It's definitely scary because like you I have grown up in London, but I've been feeling myself growing more complacent and dreaming of returning to the Caribbean to live my truth. I'm struggling with letting go of some of the ties that bind me to the UK, and the financial aspects of moving. Nevertheless I'm determined this is the right path for me. Thank you for sharing your journey, and showing us what's possible.

I appreciate your authenticity about your journey in Grenada. I am interested in learning about the challenges as well as the positive aspects your move. I really admire that you made the decision to relocate your family. I am 60, in the USA and wish I had followed the pull in my heart to leave years ago. Now my plan is to go to a island and stay for a couple months a year (maybe more). Not as a vacation but to really get to know myself and the country. @@ExodusCollective I have considered St. Kitts. I've been there a couple of times. During one of your live videos I asked about short term apt rental. I've been in contact with someone there just to get info. I went to Costa Rica in November. I'll be going back in May. And you have me thinking about Grenada😆. At this point I'm exploring to get a feel for places. I did feel a kind of grounding in St. Kitts, but I'd like to visit a few other places first. My soul has never felt completely felt solid here. I have always been aware of that but fears and doubt always crept in during younger years. And, YES, the winters here are more brutal on my body. If I make it Grenada I'll let you know!😊

I am an English born Grenadian woman, who currently resides in the U.K. My husband is Grenadian. My parents, & grand parents, history etc stems from Grenada. We try to come to Grenada twice a year when we can. But we hope to make that move in the coming years. I love this video & recognise your current neighbourhood. Looks like Westerhall gated. There would always be an orientation period of adjustment. Don't tear down your family home, renovate. That property is beautiful. I see a "Riverwalk Restaurant" on the edge of the River. A nature walk and day visit for students to be influenced for Agriculture. "Let Girls Learn" that programme gets so much funding, if you position it right. I so encourage you to pace your adjustment. You are so, so brave, I know you made the right decision. I think also, grouping returnees, since you are already there, might be a good support, and income source. Of course your children are a priority, right now. Whatever you choose to do, once you do "what you love to do", it will work out. Bless you, I hear you, I support and encourage you!

Hi Zoe, That's very interesting. I am use to going back to Grenada, like many of us to our family home, with most being in the countryside. And this is were maybe you might feel a more in tune with the locals. But then the question would be, what is the definition of a "Gated Community". Is it all expats so to speak. If so, that maybe part of the reason, but there is nothing wrong with that community you are in. Its just that you have a different mindset, in regards to living in Grenada. The example I would give, if you agree, would be staying in an all inclusive hotel compared to backpacking, if you see what I mean. There are people who have family homes and decide to keep it and pass it on to the next generation. Keep that mindset, as you will get use to the life the longer you are there. One more thing that's come to mine, which maybe relevant, is reading books. I mention that because tv in Grenada is not the same compared to UK regarding cable. So because of that, you tend to read more especially in this wonderful climate. In other words there is no distraction so to speak .
@ExodusCollective
@ExodusCollective 2 года назад
For sure, there's nothing wrong with the community at all. It's a lovely place to be - it's just I'd rather be somewhere else... Probably the sort of setting that you're used to in Grenada too

DO NOT MOVE IF THE COUNTRYSIDE HOUSE DOESN'T HAVE A SEA VIEW.... just kidding. Is it important to be close to the airport? Is your current neighbourhood quiet, vs new one? What about the street lights situation in the potential new versus current if you happen to be needing to be in transit at night? Can you do a trial run living at the country house before you decide? How do the kids feel about leaving where they are at present? My mom had moved me from the country to the city while she was away because of sand flies issues. I don't know if that is still a consideration. I think Grenada would lend itself very well to living off the grid. What is internet service like in the grandparent's house if you go off grid. I think it's sad for a house to be just sitting unused. If you need to sell, so be it. Unless of course if your grandparents are still around. It's a big achievement to become homeowners, and it might be too upsetting to see you part with it. It could also be another place in the city that you move to, rather than going to the countryside.

The physical deliverace or liberation from the trauma of living in a world/society that does not acknowledge or nuture the human Soul and it's divinely is only the beginning of your healing journey. It can not be equated with or expected to provide in and of itself the experience of Spiritual Freedom, Inner Peace, Balance and the return of the sensation of your own Beingness. True Freedom from Soular Bondage is when that which has created the trauma no longer effects/impacts your thought, speech or actions and creative outcomes as you move about the cabin of live..... when you've called back all your soul fragments and attachments to the psychic bonds of trauma and they have been broken - then you will no longer be living your life at the vibrational frequency/rate of what you've been through...This will be Freedom from the inside out....It will be independent of location .... and more....
