This channel has helped me so much I’m about two weeks in and it’s been a journey I’m still not eating the best I’m only 21 and had to get full mouth immediate dentures I feel so much happier I can smile again I’m not In constant pain from tooth pain I had a bad eating disorder that rotted my teeth away the main thing is learning to eat and mouth sores it’s almost been long enough to use adhesive and I can’t wait I was embarrassed at first but I’m so confident now! These videos are so helpful. Bcause of endless infections, I don't have a mouthful of teeth anymore and I'm getting closer to the point of getting those immediates. What you're saying about taste and the roof of your mouth being covered, having had braces and a retainer, the plastic covering the roof of your mouth seems to not be much of an issue. I don't recall losing flavor when I had to eat with my retainer in and it seems like anyone who had braces will adapt pretty quickly.

I just had all my bottom teeth pulled 3 days ago and got full bottom temporary dentures (I guess I will have these for 6 months) and to be honest it does suck but you're definitely giving me hope and actually I think helping me more than my dentist with advice so good stuff man and you're much appreciated

I watch your video listening to your own experience with dentures, both upper and lower. I'm very nervous but typical I think for all new patients facing the opportunity to be able to get your smile back and your appetite again. I'm glad i found this page. Im only 3 days in from my pull and intermediates. Yes, eating anything has been a real challenge, and i believe will continue to be. My denturest did a little adjustment on the 24hr check up and said the oral surgeon had done an amazing job with the extractions. In 2 more days i will go back to have another check up and start the soft liner process and then weekly check up's there after. My denturest is amazing and is very into my feelings and concerns. He is an amazing artist, and my teeth fit my look and are very natural looking.

Words can not express how thankful I am to creators like yourself for taking time and finding the courage to post about your journey. Hearing your experience has helped me tremendously, both physically and mentally!! It’s a process. I had extractions on 11/4 but waited on dentures and got them 12/29. I have a long way to go just yet but it’s videos like this that keep me positive. I got rid of Facebook book but that support group sounds amazing. You, and a few others, are my support and I thank you. I know one day this won’t be all consuming. Bless you and yours!!! ❤️

Thank you for mak8ng this vid. I'm 46 almost a month ago I had all my teeth pulled and had to have bone ground off the bottom so obviously still in my healing dentures. I knew I'd have issues eating for a while what I didn't anticipate was issues talking and the lisp. I appreciate you talking about having that issue and it going away.

Thank you so much for your videos. They are hands down the most informative and comforting of any I've watched. At almost 70 years old I might have to get a full mouth of dentures. I am freaking out because I do not know how I am going to deal with it as I have a very bad gag reflex. I couldn't' deal with a retainer when I had my braces taken off as a kid, so I don't know how I am going to deal with something that is going to be 4xs as big as a retainer. I am super depressed about this right now.

I did the rest of my 8 extractions just 3 weeks ago, and not doing immediate so been working with my dentist. After 3 try-in's last one needed to trim gum line down and raise teeth a little, its perfect, i was able to talk not horribly and they seemed to fit well. Next week i finally get them and they are the perm ones, most likely because all i had left was 8 to pull and all teeth outside those been out for anywhere from 6 months-2 years. Haven't had anything on the bottom in over 2 years, so no need for immediate. No swelling, only pain was once numbness agent wore off and once in afternoon and 0 pain since. SO thankful for an amazing dentist, he did all my teeth except 1. Always was the same, no swelling ever, pain only first day. Thank you for these videos, they were a huge help and you look great!

Great video. Just had all my teeth extracted. There weren't many left anyway. I'm a young 80 and had the procedure done just before Thanksgiving. Not good. Gums are still swollen. I'm pureeing my food and can't wait to be able to eat normal again. I guess it's going to be a journey like you said. Thanks for the Insite. Going to watch some of your other videos.

What a great video. Honestly the best video I have seen yet regarding dentures. I will be getting a partial soon and my fear is gone after watching your video young man. You look so handsome and perfect smile.. thank you again..

17 years and no bone loss. I take them out and clean them but otherwise leave them in all the time including when I sleep. Bone loss is caused by not chewing tough food as bone needs to be stressed to stay healthy otherwise the body starts to reabsorb it. It'll take some work and discomfort to toughen up your gums to eat steak without cutting it into tiny bites but within a year I was eating ribs off the bone, and steak without cutting it into tiny bites. Also having lived with constant tooth pain for years it felt great and within 2 days I didn't need the pain meds anymore. Took 2 months before I could eat much of anything solid, but after that things just got better and better.

Excellent video. I currently have partial upper and lower dentures getting ready to switch to full uppers. The biggest change for me will be having my entire upper pallet covered. Thank you Justin for this video. Had a dental appointment two days ago and got the bad news there is a lot of infection so they need to remove the molars on the upper and lower. Wow what a emotional moment. Its like the world dropped out from under me. Seeing you eat pizza gave me encouragement.

They look great ,and if you had not told me they were denatures ,I would have never known !! Better too have them ,than just gums !! I myself ,had too have my teeth removed ( not nice ) but after a long six months ,I got my "new " teeth !!! And I am thankful !! They were made off a cast off my own teeth ,but without the damage ,and they look great !! Are they as good as my real teeth ,no ! But a lot better than just a empty mouth ,a big thanks too my denature guy Craig !! A legend and did a great job !!
