Thank you for sharing your thoughts in parenthood and the joy it brings to your life .only if more Dad's would feel this way we would have happier kids and not kids with curious minds about the parent who's missing in their lives. May God's Abundance of Grace flow in your dreams ,your thoughts and your journey of parenthood with all your children. I can't wait to see how God is going to do it. You love Kiara and she loves you and with the love of God in your lives you're going to make it ✨️ God bless you Desmond for all you're doing as a Father/Friend/Family Man 🌹🙏🏾❤️
Lil brother I’m glad y’all still hanging in there though !Im kinda of shocked but I wish y’all nothing but the best !I love y’all family dynamic and God has bought y’all a mighty long way!People grow ,mature and learn !Amen!💙🙏🏾
Not just black girls that hate on "good hair". I grew up in a predominantly "white" school and all the white girls there were so fascinated with how LONG my hair was. In braids and natural. Just ignorant ppl in general that will hate if they're insecure within themselves. No matter what the age.
Mybad. That is absolutely correct I didn’t grow up around white people but I know how sisters (some) are when it comes to other. It’s sad but it’s true.
Having children is a gift from GOD. Some people aren't blessed to enjoy being parents. Educate your children with RESPECT....NO SWEARING, and verbal abuse, or calling your daughter a punk when she sees herself as royalty...queen/princess doesn't MATTER. Relationships begin with a stable, solid foundation of trust and RESPECT and it starts with YOU! LEARNING, TRUST, LOVE AND RESPECT IS A 2-WAY STREET. Enjoy the journey.
Luv your fam.. I’m glad you’re excited to be a father, I’m glad you see girls need their daddy’s so do boys … But girls need that love and affirmation in this world more than ever! So very thankful for fathers like you! Take your daughter and show her how she should be treasured!
Hey Dez. Great video. Just wanted to say that everyone has good hair, it's just how u take care of it. Keep in mind that if u say that Jericho has good hair, then how would ur non mixed kids feel about their hair? Also, I think the comments might of have been turned off because of ur settingsas as you were uploading your video. Did u check on the part that says something about kid? If so, that will turn off your comments.
I hate the slurping and belching that he is doing throughout this video. It is crude and shows a lack of training. If you must, do your slurping and belching off camera where viewers and subscribers do not have to listen to it if they are interested in your thoughts. It is not nice for Kalia to hear that you were not happy when you heard that her mother was pregnant with her. Even if you were happy when you learned that she was a girl. Everyone has 'Good' hair. STOP the unnecessary CURSING.. Broaden your vocabulary.
Slurping that coffee lol I agree teach them responsibilities, it’s true when women haven’t had a relationship with their dad it affects their relationship, I had to learn to submit !God is helping me
I was a aingle mom, two boys, no co-parenting (there choice) i had to really step up my duties as a parent, gave them chores (appropriate for their age) and also talk to them about what's going on in society, i can say my 30 and 21 year old sons turned out to be good humans 😊😊 you are doing a good job Desmond. 😊
Dezz hair doesn't define a person. Every hair texture is a good texture because God created hair. Also there is no problem wearing weave. Black women wear weave. Why some of us wear weave maybe because of hair issues (alopecia). Others because we like different hairstyles and there is nothing wrong with that. It's sad that some of our black men have a problem with that. I have a lot of black Male friends that like it because they say they like to see different hairstyles on us. Also other women of color even white women wear weave. We as women of all races like to change of our appearances and believe me a lot of men love that so don't hate Dezz. I still like you as a person.
@iamdesmondcassell, I'm glad that you don't feel that way, because she's right. I haven't worn weaves in some years. I've been natural. And though I have a nice texture and amount of hair on my head, I am one of the women that she's speaking about. I've been battling alopecia for over 10 years.🙂It's managed by my diet and hair care regime. But she's right. Black women are versatile, and a lot of us, ❤️ LOVE "OUR" texture of hair through the different textures of coarse🎉 to fine.🎉 So yes, I understand that sometimes girls/females can be ignorant or jealous. We all went through something in school. But you do what you said you're going to do. Teach your daughter how to speak up and also how to defend herself. AND MOST OF ALL, teach her that all black girls don't hate their hair and don't hate her hair either❤🙂. Everything is going to work out Dez. Keep praying 🙏🏽 too.🩵And last thing, ALL BLACK HAIR "IS" "GOOD" HAIR.❤🖤💚😊
I don’t think he meant it that way. He’s speaking the truth, kids get picked on (especially mixed kids) because of their hair or being light skinned, just like dark skinned kids get picked on as well. Kids are mean af. It happens.
I'm here for the journey and the growth in your real life and Vlog/ RU-vid life. #teamCassells❤🎉 Side note: You are going to have a heck of alot of content to vlog in the near future.😅🙏🏽👍🏽
Desmond good hair?? No such thing ,I have curly fine hair with some kink and even I don’t reference it as good hair , it’s just people don’t know how to manage it and their people that have talked it down especially in the days where there was slavery ! But all hair is wonderfully made by God :)
Very well said @encouragedby ashley2679. What you said is so true. Black people were brainwashed by society to feel that their hair is inferior to Caucasians' straight hair. Throughout history straight hair was seen as the IDEAL but we all know that LICE loves straight hair and cannot survive in curly African hair. So having that type of hair has its problems.
You mention KIARA...and you got.a KOOL-AID SMILE😂..i soo enjoy seeying your vlogs and watching the family be closer each time .its soo awsome this time around..Pain can change us...and For kiara you can tell she did go thru it but letting go and she has grown and matured alot So im sorry if i put my foot in but i think that if you both try it this time around it will be awsome..I.remember kiara telling you shes pregnant..you thought she was pranking you 😂..i lovw this time around for you guys
Dez is Soooo full of "shti" He knows Kiara isn't his type of woman. He describes the woman plenty of times, and its not her. Anything to keep a roof iver his head.
I've always believed in speaking to children with truth. Do not baby them or lie to them. Once they see that you just bs them, the older they get they will lose respect. Idk that's my opinion.
You've always been a stand-up guy keep doing Daddy and teach these daddies because kids do need a father in the house and I'm glad you're back Home you're doing what you supposed to as a man.. I'll say it again I've been watching you and Kiara since day one and get your wife back 😂😂😂
@jacalahall This is one of those things that you don't have to know someone personally for something to be a commonality and yes, black females hating on hair textures is a commonality the same as other widely known experiences. It's even discussed across all platforms. It's literally why there's been this "campaign" for women of color to embrace all hair textures. That's the truth, even if it's uncomfortable for some to hear or acknowledge.
@@yolandawilson6619 I’m from a whole different country where we are so comfortable with ourselves, that what you’re talking about doesn’t exist. And I’m so happy it doesn’t. It’s really sad that things like that do exist. Smh
@jacalahall It's alive and well all across the world especially on social media. I'm glad you don't have the personal experience but it is across all platforms.
@@iamdesmondcassell actually no. Still a very ignorant statement coming from a black man. Was still supporting but for this I’ll politely unsubscribe . Educate yourself black man
Stop. We all know there is a recognized category of "good hair." Yes, black females are the main ones who hate and criticize hair types. No, not all black females celebrate all hair types. So stop.
Stop acting as if yall haven't heard of people, especially black people, even more specifically, black females, hating on "good hair." Stop acting as if there isn’t a recognized category of "good hair." Yall being fake on this one. Dez, no burping!
I think she took the video down, but there's a video of her chilling with him at his barracks when they first met. She's singing, and he's sitting behind her, staring at her, smiling. She didn't know he was looking at her like that till she edited the video.
Now, Dez! Don’t solely blame single mothers for how their boys turn out. 9/10 times those mothers lose their boys to the streets because of other men. Also, why do the girls do so much better coming from the same households? Think about that. No matter what mama says, it doesn’t hit like having a father saying it. Ask those dad’s why they are not active in those kids lives and actually dig yourself. Some men will lie about the mother keeping the kids away. Also, the whole mask that people wear drops once their in a relationship. Everyone doesn’t show the real them out the gate. Another thing, black girls can grow and have long ,real hair. I have always had long, healthy 4c hair down my back. I have 2 beautiful, mixed girls and I would never tell them that other little black girls will be jealous of them. I tell them that everyone gets bullied regardless and to never feel superior to anyone. You’re being an amazing dad but you irritated me a bit with this one because as a black woman and mother I have to set the record straight. I am a single mother of 2 by choice because I adopted my niece and her sister. I was married to my only bio son’s father so he has always been active with him. My father helps with the girls and sometimes the oldest girl’s fathers come in and out. Long story short, I got my bio niece at 8 months and my non bio niece was 8. 2 men claim to be her dad and I’ve literally seen 1 of them like 4 times and the other is in Missouri. My brother and their mom are addicts so they lost all rights. I know this is long and drawn out but I just don’t want you to give the kids a superiority complex on accident. I think you’ll keep them all grounded though so I’ll exit left! You guys have been doing great by the way!
It is 'DUE DILIGENCE ' (pronounced 'Di - Luh - Juns.' ). It means a steady, earnest and energetic effort ; to be attentive and persistent in accomplishing something.
