Living With The 2023 Acura TLX Type S

What stage on the jb4? And no issues so far with engine or anything ? It feels smooth in all modes? Wondering about getting a jb4 or ktuner for mine not sure which one, or if it’s safe. Haven’t seen much information on it

a wider body? since when? and as far as improved throttle tuning you can ktune a 2021-2022 type s and gain 50hp and 90lbft of torque WITH improved throttle response, better than a 2024 model, and I'm sure 2023 support for ktuner is around the corner, where as there are zero power gains for 2024 just minor throttle response changes, I'm sure its almost imperceptible. wireless carplay may be nice for some but you lose audio fidelity with lossless when going wireless so wired is most likely preferred for audio enthusiasts. I like the new grille design and ordered all of the 2024 parts to put on my 2022. I dislike the digital gauges on 2024 but I do like the 12.3 inch head unit.

Anyways, this is the width i was talking about "sitting on a bespoke chassis meant for the TLX, Acura pushed out the front track 1.2 inches. The overall TLX is 2.2 inches wider and half an inch lower, center of gravity and all." This was a change for 2021, not 2024. That's my mistake. However, im not sure why you're talking about warranty voiding ktuner or anything about your satisfaction with the features i mentioned that got left out in the video. 1. I was only commenting on leaving out some of the upgrades for 2024 when comparing it to the 2023, not being a fair comparison. 2. Why are you trying yo defend what accessories are important to you? That has nothing to do with the discussion about what is coming from the factory. 3. 80% of people who buy a TLX aren't going to modify their cars. And you can make whatever mods/tuning you want from the aftermarket, that doesnt have anything to do with coming from factory that way. 4. You saying the throttle tuning they did for 2024 can't be felt, is probably the same thing your boyfriend says about you.

​@@vivid9263bro you're coping lol. It's ok sometimes this shit happens with car models. Same shit happened with the supra. The new model adds sooooo many things this car should have had at launch. It's just a better version full stop. Trade yours in and get the new one or just continue enjoying yours but stop pretending they didn't make significant nice changes to the car.

I thought Acura omitted the acoustic glass on the Type S TLX. Was that only on the 2024 MY?

@mindorios I like the look of black and have owned a few black vehicles. But never again. It just shows every flaw and always looks dirty.

@@steve8803that’s why white is usually a popular color. It hides a lot of dings and scratches and especially dirt! Lol

I believe they call that "Modern Steel Metallic." Unfortunately no longer available on the Type S. Lunar Silver Metallic looks good, and it also saves you $600 vs. any other available color this year.

The stinger is still being produced through the 2023 year and will be discontinued as of 2024. (From what i can tell)

They were pretty close I feel like the TLX is for people who have no interest in driving manual and the Integra is for the manual enthusiast. I enjoyed the Integra because of the manual it made driving more fun. The TLX was easier to drive because I didn't have to worry about shifting. Both are excellent and I like that Acura seems to have a solid option for everyone!

@@technicallycars i'd like to add that it might be a bit easier to find a TLX Type S at MSRP, than a Integra Type S. all the hassle at finding a ITS at MSRP without a dealer markup, is just ridiculous.

IS500 for sure! Naturally aspired engine and will probably last until you die.

Stock for stock I would take the type s since it sounds better however if you were planning on doing exhaust work I would choose the is500

bro, if you going to drive in the canyons and modify TYPE S in a heartbeat. Engine wise it has forged internals and it will last if it tuned right. I will always take Acura vs any new gen Lexus. !
