Bless your heart. You have my full sympathy and support. I'm struggling with Peri for the last few years and have battled with social and general anxiety my whole life which makes this phase even more daunting. That combined with the oppression we are all feeling this past year is a perfect storm. Have an interview on Thursday and am almost having a breakdown thinking about it. Just don't seem to have any reserves when stresses arrive. It makes you feel very vulnerable which is even more anxiety provoking. Hope we can all break out of these patterns we seem locked into. Take care and thanks for putting yourself out there for all us sufferers. I certainly couldn't imaging sharing the way you do. 💜

Awwww bless you, thank you for reaching out, I think you're really brave too. I hope you managed the interview on Thursday and coped as best you can. I use this technique when I'm really anxious, I breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth at least 5 times, just to try to slow my breathing, I then look for 10 physical items around me.. So maybe tv, coffee table, plant etc, I count them out on my hands, I then think of 3 things I can feel, maybe a bobble in my hair, my socks on my feet a watch on my wrist, I find it takes my mind off the anxiety long enough for me to come down slightly and function somewhat. I can't imagine how you are feeling, especially having suffered from anxiety prior to Peri, I pray it gets better for you. And this is the most vulnerable and needy I've ever been, so I'm completely feeling the same. I hope the job interview went well and you managed the anxiety. I keep getting told this do end after this dreaded phase of our lives, so I'm praying so for all of us. Keep well lovely and look after yourself Xx

Aw- Sam- sending huge hugs... anxiety is a huge and very real challenge- exacerbated at the moment by the impact of Covid... stay healthy and safe and do what you can, when you can. Don’t ever let yourself run on empty! Easier said than done, I know...😘

Thank you so much Jane, anxiety is the worst part for me after finally getting rid of the dreaded migraines. I promise I have learned to be kinder to myself, I think that's one good thing I learned from this phase of my life. Happy New year lovely lady, let's pray for a better 2021 Xx

Hope you feel better soon hun! It’s amazing if you to share your real and honest experience with menopause! I’m a strong believer that there’s not enough awareness about menopause and it’s effects so it’s great to share truthful experiences, it’s something i’m really passionate about!

Thank you so much Liz, I was so completely blindsided by how ill it has made me and it shocked me women just don't talk about it, yet we all have to go through it in varying degrees. It's been the most trying time in my adult years, and I thought if I can help one women by documenting my journey, it's been absolutely worth it. I wish I was more prepared for it, that's for sure. Thank you so so much for this, these comments are what keep me documenting this most vulnerable time Xx
