Mate I love your commentary but this video is almost like an exercise in how not to use a camera (pointing at the sun for the interior shots) , cmon Ben you can do better 😂
The reason why people watch these videos, based on your title is for a comparison to answer: IS THE BASE good enough? Stop wasting valuable time with things anyone can look up on the website. Focus on the point.
'...high speed through corners...'????? On the public highway? How many people (idiots) buy this car to race(?) on the open road? I've always favoured the base 911 as i think it's a work of art and i'd drive it like a cruiser and enjoy the thrill of owning such a fabulous motor...and i wouldn't be speeding anywhere.
If you are not going to drive in a spirited manner I would advise you to go for something like a range rover or a series 4 bmw. Porsches are made for performance and will feel sort of uncomfortable when driven at low/medium speeds. I recently drove a cayman and it was really hard to keep the speed below 120km/h. The car just keeps asking for more !! If you are not careful, you could reach over 200km/h without even noticing. You could buy it just because it looks cool, a lot of people buy jeep wranglers and never take them off-road. But it's not the idea...
Also to clasify someone as an "idiot" because they like to drive fast just shows a lack of character. Anybody could call you an idiot for buying a 100k two-seater to drive it like a granny...
@@alejandromaclean3666 Hi Alejandro, thanks for your reply. I reckon you must be one of the idiots i was referring to. Would you drive at 200km/h on the public highway? I like to drive fast too, just not on the open road where i exercise care and respect for other road users and pedestrians alike. How would you feel if I drove my car fast on the road, lost control and ploughed into your family killing them all? I guess it's a matter of maturity. PS My character is just fine, thanks. 🏎🏍
@@peem1244 well yes... driving fast has nothing to do with driving reckless... Germany has fewer car accidents than countries with a speed limit, as you said, it is a matter of maturity and who is behind the wheel. If you crashed into my family and killed them while speeding, it would not be because you were speeding but because you chose the wrong time and place to speed. If you see an empty open road that you are familiar with in front of you, I don't see a reason not to enjoy the capabilities of your car, specially if it's a Porsche. It comes down to the driver's judgement and ability. Would you not agree ? And if not, what would you say about german drivers ? Are they all idiots for driving at speeds well over the limit in other countries ? I really am curious.
438 superfluous pounds in cosmetic options, 194 questionable pounds in the GT steering wheel that that isn't better quality or smaller like on previous models and it also covers the side screens. That comes to a total of 632 pounds you could have saved. :)
