I wish the LMHG line of this is more accessible or straight up remade in the new rg form considering its' diversity (type f, mass production series, bardiel, sachiel, all the unique accessories, and the unpainted figure)
7:03 for those curious, that is a positron rifle, one was shown in the original tv series, later retrofitted for operation yashima (or what i called, the polyhedron sniping match)
Only built the 01 LMHG kit and it was surprisingly great. I love the proportions with this line more than the rebuild proportions of the rebuild RG line.
Love the style of these old Eva kits. I'm always wanting the Eva merch machine to switch back to the original Eva designs now that the Rebuilds are done. Would really like to see what you do to it!
actually Bardiel is an infected Eva Unit-03, the Eva Unit-04 is the silver-colored one and in the anime's lore its core exploded when it was still under construction in the American branch of NERV.
Haven’t built this, but instead the EVA-Frame version, along with units 0-2+8, and 13 in the background, in a sentai pose with Unit-3 as a normal Eva unit, dual wielding Progressive Knives. While they are simplified, they’re also affordable (in a franchise where items can QUICKLY become unaffordable) and all fit in a modest footprint, wildly opposed to say, a PG Unicorn collection.
hey I remember this kit, I actually still have it in my room. it was my first introduction to a bandai model kit. I also did the unit 02 kit which had like prebuilt arms that had an assembly inside that was basically covered by a soft plastic
To this day I am absolutely bummed Bandai never released an expansion kit or a version of the RG Unit-03 with parts to turn it into Bardiel, wasted potential
well, those are still great kits today, and the elbow rubber covered joint it's still unbeatable to me. I wish, like many other people, that Bandai would still produce those, renew their license with Studio Khara, whatever it takes to bring those back.
I have this kit and it is a hand grenade. If I am on vacation in another part of the world and I sneeze in the general direction of my country, parts fall off of this kit.

I have this kit and the other 3 eva lmhg kits…theyre all pretty similar except unit 1 which has a little bit more detail compared to the other 3…unit 0 (yellow) 2 and 3 are all pretty similar…thats the problem with the eva kits there’s really not much difference between them all…
