Beautiful work! Do you brush on additional simple syrup to the sides of the cake so it doesn't dry/crust up as fast since the cake is bare? Thank you for your time and video. 😎🤟💜🌟

Not at this point unfortunately. I mean I do but I haven't shared it. We use a lot of my recipes at the bakery I work at and I don't want to step in toes.

It is well saturated with simple syrup, and I did it as the very last order before it was picked up.

How do you firm up the buttercream? You said to add buttercream.... that doesn't make sense. Do you mean powdered sugar? Also, what did you put on the letters before frosting?
