Thats an easy good time for a family.👍 I remember going crabbing as a kid on the Mississippi coast. I begged my dad for a cast net when I was 7. He said you wont use that thing for 10 minutes. He bought me a 3' cast net and aive tossed one ever since. Im 50 now. Thats 43 years of fun.🤣👍👍
We moved from the north to SETX 9 years ago and was introduced to the art of catching crabs on a line. We love catching and eating crabs. I enjoy eating crabs boiled or steamed. No debate from this guy
In a world of video games we love to see you and Jack outside and you teaching him what our Grandpa tough us. We grew up fishing Delacroix, Lake Lery and Whitehouse Canal. We should make a cast net Dog food Video. The shrimp are running!!! Great real !! content.
Oh my gosh. This is such a neat video. I remember beigg bc a lil kid scooping shrimps with a flash light off the side of the boat ramps in south fl. I love easy stuff like this. This is the kind of crabbing i think is fun bc you never know and gotta be quick with the scoop net lol
Great crabbing video. Reminded me of when my mom and I used to go crabbing in the early 60’s. Yes I am that old but still fishing or hunting weekly. Life is good. Keep ‘‘em coming. 25:03
Jared-just recently watching your videos. Informative, educational, entertaining, my wife & I enjoy watching your fishing & cooking skills. Your role modeling with Jack is exceptional. Bless you. Dave and Judy
Great video!! As a Dad your family should come first!! I've done roadside stuff for years!! We in Louisiana are blessed with great natural resources!!! Lenny Wells / Naturally Louisiana Photographer!
St Bernard parish. I think anyway, that looks like where I go crab off the road. Your channel is really the only one I can think of that shows the full range of fishing in Louisiana. Did you go gigging for frogs at night yet? Flounder?
My family lives in Thibodaux. We use to go crabbing, but now no one goes. We just went down there for a cruise. I wish I knew they were in season. My kids would have had a blast.
Thank You for all you do Jared. Thanks for sharing those adorable boys. We don't have ditches like that in landlocked North West North Dakota. I might have to try out the seafood truck that comes from Louisiana.
I listen to cut and retie all time and so glad he had a down south guy on! Can't believe you aint got that 100k yet. Keep it up man and yes, I got some merch on the way!
Hey Jared tried Crabbing 🦀 an Shrimping at night near those 💦 Water Pipes. Use a Lantern 🏮 and your Dip 🥅 Net that's all you need and you might want to place a couple throw 🥅 Nets in there too. Nighttime seems to hold the Better 🦀 Crabs and the 🍤 Shrimp come out at night better. Also try Chicken 🍗 Drumsticks. Good Luck 🤞
Keep giving that glory to God and being an incredible father! Really enjoy your content brother. I hope to get down your way sometime and enjoy that Louisiana life.
Sure would be nice to go to a ditch and get crab. Love crab with butter. You guys so blessed to have crab. Probably would cost a mint to buy crab up here in Ohio. Used to be restaurants up here had all you could eat crab. Well that's gone with the wind.
Enjoyed the video. You show how it is in South Louisiana. Except steaming a crab 😂. I never ate a steamed crab. Not saying I wouldn't, just never did. 😊
When I would steam my crabs, the meat would stick to the shell. Based on a suggestion from a boil, I placed them apron up in the pot to cook. No stuck meat. A Christmas miracle!
What part of South Louisiana, I noticed we have the same last name(different spelling)... small world.. the only other spelling I've been familiar with are my city cousins with the spelling of Cerigne.. Southern Lafourche was home until about 10yrs ago..
When was this recorded. I too am from south Louisiana we aint had any type of cold front recently. Its been literally 103 for like 2 weeks straight. Shoot its currently 9:08pm and its still 88° but feels like 97°
Bro use boiler chicken or chicken intestines it is very good bait for crabs try it once and mention me... Good luck brother I am your old subscriber❤❤❤❤❤
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2s3S745m1AA.html Save the encrusted seasoning top shell, retain the mustard if desired, snap the small legs and squeeze the meat out. Occasionally dip a morsel into apple cider vinegar then touch the encrusted seasoning for a blend of flavors. Enjoy!
The guy was supposed to pick up his lines and trash when leaving. That's why it looks so trashy where ever people fish along canals in Louisiana. Don't believe me? go down to Point A Chene and look along the roads or around the water control structures. Not just there but every where. This is not from tourists either.
