Vox Nova Chorale, Vicki Peters, Artistic Director perform Jonathan Quick's arrangement of "Loch Lomond" a Scottish folk tune. Kyle Schwartz, tenor soloist. Recording Engineer, David Trembley, Soundmasters Productions.
Excellent performance. The echoing gets in the way of the singing quite a bit, but that also makes seem like theres a ghost choir. My only suggestion is that this choir seems very very professional, you should try letting them live in the music, maybe even dance a little to their favorite pieces. When my choir did this piece, the sound was living and breathing with the rest of us, and everybody in the choir and the crowd was smiling and even dancing (head bobbing/swaying) with the rhythm. This choir is definitely more talented than ours, but in order to stand out one must make the world feel something more than just… “Oh, another talented choir”
@@ilovelambs5534 It's a travesty, quite simply. The song is sung in the person of a jacobite rebel who is about to be executed and take the 'low road' - death. What is this ridiculous jaunty nonsense?
