Marvel's 2017 film, Logan is one of the most realistic superhero films I've seen period. I was one of the first people to see this movie about 5 years ago and I can honestly its still fresh in my mind. The movie takes on many themes we rarely see in superhero blockbusters. It does so in such an unflinching way as well and I think this has a lot to do with Why Logan Relates to us. Watch on as I explain!

Great deep dive Logan is one of my favorite movies also I never thought make that connection Kudos to Hugh Jackman too wolverine is one of the more compelling comic book characters and his acting especially in this movie really opened everyones eyes to that plus his amazing acting ability

Exactly! I feel like this movie was very neccessary. Not just for the character, but for Hugh Jackman. I feel like he was finally able act exactly how Wolverinnecessary and he did a hell of a job. Thanks brother for checking me out!

There is definitely alot to take from this film. I know when I watched it in theaters I was kinda disappointed that wolverine final fight was against himself but after letting the movie soak in and rewatching the film I see the beauty in how logan has to literally fight his past self that he is running away from but must face it to allow x23 to find a happier path than he had. Definitely a beautiful movie.

That's exactly it. I can honestly say I enjoyed the fights sequences in general however when you add that extra meaning to it, it makes it all the more special. I couldn't agree more a beautiful and in my opinion underrated superhero film! ✊🏾

I love how you reflect on aging! I want to mention that how the film depicts aging can apply to disabled people of all ages.

Yeah aging to me is a huge part of what makes us all human. And thats what I liked about Logan is that it humanized superheros. Very relateable.

Definitely enjoyed this movie it was a well written send off for Wolverine. The demons he has to live with, his age starting to effect him, and him trying to find his inner peace.

Exactly. I think Wolverine is such a deep and tormented character and this film captured all while still allowing him to be the hero! Perfect send-off. 🙏🏾

Great review didn't see that one coming but I also recommend if you ever do a separate channel for stories you should do video games and just watch all cutscenes. The aspect that you gave in this review reminded me of Red Dead redemption 2 Arthur Morgan, another RU-vidr broke down the character that made me realize why I resemble Arthur Morgan. You have a interesting perspective when it comes to analyzing stories.

I think another superhero movie that is grounded to everyday human struggles is Unbreakable by M. Knight Shyamalan. Check it out if you have the chance, it's a great movie!

You know I didn't appreciate Unbreakable when I was younger. I didn't think it worked as a superhero movie. But as I got older it became one of my favorite movies, simply because of its ability to have a very human component to it, like Logan. Such a great film! Thanks for the reminder. 🙏🏾
