Crazy that, in general, I haven't seen much defense of this album even from his core fanbase. For an artist that had so much potential, Logic is destroying his own career for some reason.

If there’s one quality thing Logic has kept up over his career is his album covers.

You saw what happened when Tec N9ne gave him a track. You saw what happened when Royce gave him a track. You saw what JUST happened when he finally got Eminem on his own track. Logic has had flashes of greatness here and there, but overall he’s always been a slightly better than mediocre rapper. His style of rap and the subject matter he seems to be most comfortable with has run its course, so that’s why there was such a dramatic shift in tone on this album. But even the flexing on his haters and clapping back at internet warriors is a theme we get plenty of on his mixtapes, so just because it was different doesn’t mean it’s new. Nonetheless, his core fan base will ride with him no matter what, so I don’t expect the next album to be any better.

Logic went from being a great rapper that delivered in 2013-2014 and once he released the incredible true story, his music went on a huge decline in quality and lyrics

I think the thing that pisses me off so much about Logic is that he had so much potential and skill. I became a HUGE fan of his after being introduced to his music by a friend around the time The Incredible True Story cane out (and I listened to all of his mixtapes and Under Pressure right after), and he has been on such a sharp decline after that point that it’s impossible for me to say he makes good music anymore. It’s like each album release I’m afraid of getting my hopes up because they’re crushed every. single. time. I’m still a fan, but he fell off.

The problem with Logic is that he is way too positive to the point that he surrounds himself with "Yes-men" and has made himself his own worst yesmen.

I like how Logic shows he's biracial on the cover. Half human, half Red Skull.
