Logic Vinyl Days Album Review / Reaction 

I’m glad people are enjoying it! Doesn’t have to be for me. I think the length and similar subject matter killed me on the first listen.

@@MattMiranda It's not the end all be all for any music genre of whoever in different style dropped an album, my philosophy is give it another chance, because to me it has more replay value than Drake's album

I feel as though I would’ve been much happier if it was shorter. It took away some of the meaning when I heard too much of the same things on different songs. It could always grow on me as I did say multiple individual songs were good

@@MattMiranda I can see your point with being a bit long but honestly this is one time I’m listening to a long ass album where I didn’t feel like any track just HAD to be taken off all of them seemed to be around the same realm of thought and were structured well to where I can easily pick my best or listen through without being disappointed.

Album of the year seems wild to me, but it would be nice to see logic in the conversation. JID might end up stealing it. How many songs did you end up adding from this album?

I worked for like 9 hours straight and monster carried.

It seems I’m in the minority. That being said I think there were plenty of promising songs but listening to 30 straight was way too much. Similar topics aswell

Track 1 Danger: Intro, no real comment Track 2 Tetris: Sounds good Track 3 In My Lifetime: I said I enjoyed the song Track 4 Decades: I think logic does better when he has slow verses, song might not be mainstream but I think it's good Track 5 JJ Abrahams: Interlude, no real comment Track 6 BLACKWHITEBOY: Interesting but idk if I would come back to it. Not bad, not great Track 7 Quasi: Interesting, I might add it Track 8 Bleed It: Experimental but I wont listen to it again. Don't blame logic for it. Track 9 La Donda: I actually do really like this track Track 10 Aaron Judge: Interlude, no real comment Track 11 Clouds: Good track nice feel, didn't like beat change Track 12 Micheal Rap: Funny Interlude Track 13 Therapy Music: Thought it was really good Track 14 Tony Revelori: Great song, heartbreaking, shocking end, good production Track 15 Rogue One: Old school, I really enjoyed it. I don't like screaming producers. Track 16 Breath Control: Logic is always really good with Wiz, I didn't like the beat change but it's something he is known for Track 17 NEMS: Nothing worth mentioning Track 18 Nardwuar: TOO MANY INTERLUDES, 33% interludes is wild. Track 19 Kickstyle: Good but actually not logic Track 20 Early Bird: Another Interlude, dude sounds familiar Track 21 Ten Years: The feature sounds poorly mixed Track 22 Porta One: Logic sounds poorly mixed, partially an interlude, short song, repetitive Track 23 NeedleDrop: Interlude that has points Track 24 Introducing Nezi: An entire song that criticizes all other artists and fans. Good concept but he has some blatantly non self-aware or honest bars. Track 25 Orville: Sounds Good but didn't love the feature Track 26 Carnival: I say that I should probably not talk about the track as I am already annoyed, too much talk about critics. Not slef-aware Track 27 Lena's Insight: Interlude no comment Track 28 Vinyl Days: Seems as though it was too planned, another about critics, not bad, but idk what I don't like Track 29 I guess I love it: Alright, but I might not go back to it Track 30 Sayonara: Excellent He talks about either fans, criticism, or modern rap being trash on the majority of songs. This is especially the case towards the end of the album. The majority of tracks 15-30 have repeated topics to other songs on the album, maybe this is just the price of having a 30 track album. Listening to 30 straight, to me, is just tiring. I said in the review that multiple of the individual tracks were good, but listening to them all straight made me feel disappointed by the end. The first 15 or so were pretty great, the last 15 tore down the promise for what I felt it could have been at the time. I feel as though I did express that frustration with it feeling as though it lost his vision on the album. I also said U.P., T.I.T.S., and B.T. 3 were better in my opinion. He also said that he was going to leave def jam how he came into def jam, which was the same style Under Pressure and The Incredible True Story time period, similar boom bap style. What are you talking about? What exactly do you disagree with?
