I just got this for MSFS2020 and I will have to finish downloading over 120GB of files for the game for me to actually start using my HOTAS. Enjoyed the unboxing and reviews

I've always bought flight sticks just for playing MechWarrior. But just for MechWarrior means it's a hobby not just a game. I really like the look of these stick/throttle. The x56 is really pricey. This is probably all I would really need.

Just picked this up today for ED and Flight Simulator. Soooo many buttons!! I just couldn't take using the mouse as a flight control in Elite any longer.

@Beaver yeah I returned it an hour after use. The lights on throttle didn't work and the stick was terrible. I bought the Logitech G pro flight for $30 and its way nicer

Coronavirus has also led to production impacts for many tech company's causing individual products to increase in overall price. It happened to gpus, ram, and various other computer parts so I'm sure it has some to do with silicon shortages and lower production rates.

I don't plan on making another video on this in the near future, but from my experience, the rubber grips are still in good condition and are not sticky. 🙂 But that being said, I only use these around once per week

yeah the material they use, degrades with time and goes sticky and smelly. Over time the butyric acid chemical component in the soft urethane grip, breaks down and that causes the stickyness and smell. The oil in your hands will affect it. you are the qquicker it will . That being said you should get at least 2 years out of it.

Hey there! Good question. After owning mine for a year I am actually trying to sell it right now. BUT this has nothing to do with the quality of this flight system. I've actually noticed it depends on the games I play. Since I don't play Star Wars Squadrons or Microsoft Simulator, or any game that this flight system is preferred, I haven't used it that much. I've actually been playing Star Citizen way more lately, and that game actually is better with dual joy stick instead of HOTAS. If you are planning to play flight sim games that a HOTAS system would work well and provide an enjoyable experience, I recommend this one. Don't get the cheaper HOTAS systems. This is a good beginner one, at a good price, good build quality, and plenty of buttons to customize. Sorry for the long-winded answer but hope this helps! 😄

the only thing that sux with the x52 is there soft skin rubber on the grips. after some time not using ur sitting in the sun for days ut will get sticky and u need to remove ith with chemicals

Yep it is possible! I’ve played Star Wars Squadrons with this HOTAS, also using my Oculus Quest 2 (connected via Virtual Desktop)

Hey there! To my knowledge, this particular flight system is only compatible with Windows PCs and would not work on the Xbox series X (or any other Xbox). I appreciate the comment! 👍

Ive found that logittech always have some sort of problem. Ever since I got my force feedback Logitech joystick in flight sim 2004 ish its always had problems. Im guessing they still do. They still look junk as well.
