Sir i want to add one more thing here "Increase your social dominance in society" get involve in one particular acitivity that show your talent, it will automatically build your network, thankyou :)
5 tips to be good comunicater..... 1...listen to them... 2...talk about themselves... 3...ask openended question.... 4...ask about their feelings... 5...take their opinion on your life ...
My learnings: Get genuinely interested in people because everyone likes to talk about himself/herself. Ask open ended questions. Networking doesn't necessarily means partying. Network is net worth.
I'm 50 +, in my job and personal life...I get so bored with people because ..rarely people talk about any hobby..like art.... spirituality...or humour...or books...or nature...or fitness...or healthcare...or music...all they speak is Netflix, entertainment, games, gossip, party, shopping brands, ....I try to strike my topics after initial conversation..but they get bored very fast..I really want to connect to people with my interests ...my age....but rarely do I find . My topics I find on RU-vid like here with you and on social media only..I feel I met real person ☺️
Another best vedio. My second vedio learning:- 1.) Network is Networth. 2) Get support 3) Difference between networking and partying 4) How to talk to the people? - explained 5) beginning of talk Thanks.
Nutshell 1.Have solid communication skills 2.People want to be heard, show interest in them. a.Ask open ended questions b.end by acknowledging the conversation 3.Take learnings from high profile people,Come from place of genuine curiosity. Thanks a lot Chetan Sir 😊❤️
You feel like brother, approachable obviously through chats only 😂, humble, a true guide and what not. It’s altogether a different feeling with you. Thanking you seems so small. I wish you expand yourself more and more everyday.
Yes bhaiya, in my 7 years of Work - experience. I learned that making Network is most important. Last month, I read Dale Carnegie book. Same thing he talked about. Thanks for a great video. 👍👍
Great sir! You have very lucidly explained and exemplified the "FORD" or "Family, Occupation, Recreation, Dreams" methodology of continuing a meaningful conversation 👍 I would agree that "how to build communication skills" is one of the most crucial elements that is missing in our educational curriculums.
This is so true, I was an introvert. I never use to talk to anyone. But I soon realised I need to get out of my comfort zone and forced myself to mingle and talk to other and more importantly to know others well. My motto was to understand people to good the bad, perfection their imperfections bcoz people are complex creatures and with a little practice and experience you will feel confident. Yes sometimes it’s overwhelming but take it slow. Its a hard skill so keep practising!!
sir bohat bohat sukriya or ak baat h jo communication me matter kaarti h woh h hum kaise konsi voice meh konsi tone meh baat kaarte h agr kisise bhi tameez se or lihaz k sath uss ki respect dekhte hue agar baat kare toh its good...... and uss samne wale inshn ko bhi accha lagega .....😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Great topic. I may not have achieved that much success as I wanted in my career, but must say always have got so much help from my network of friends and co workers and share a mutual trust. Though I am an introvert so gets very difficult to break the ice initially with a new person.
1.Network is networth...Humans need social life 2.People just enjoy talking about themself 3.Try to create an impression that they will remember forever 4.Most important Never ask Yes No questions 5.Be genuinely interested in them 6.let them ask as well
This is SO TRUE ! I can identify myself here ....No matter how hard I worked I was failing in all aspects of my life only to realize I was not communicating well. I learned this hard way ... we can't achieve everything alone.. we need people /network ..Chetan you just nailed the message.not only the why but also the how part of it...Thanks for the practical tips ...I will practice
So true, I realized the importance of communication and I am about to complete a book That is " how to make friends and influence people" communication skills and networking are really important

Network is indeed too important in our life. My network landed me into a job in one among the Big4, just by a jugaad phone call interview for a role which is only open for internal referrals. Networking really helps a lot ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Bhai I'm currently pursuing ACCA, have cleared my first two papers, just wanted to know do Big 4s hire ACCA part qualified students or trainees? Students who've completed 5 or 6 papers.
U r just Amazing..u talk more like a friend mentor..dil se aur sachhi baatein that's the reason so many can not just connect but also follow your suggestions. This is one of my favourite topic cz i am a conversationalist lover...thanks Gazillion..dil jeet liya. I will network more now..
Thank you Chetan sir. You are focusing on all those content which I needed eagerly. I am not only talking about this video but also all of them which you made.
I am an introvert so my dad always said to make contacts and be social ,first I find it like getting into fake materialistic society then I learned how to take advantage of social network😃

Omg I can't believe, I got a heart emoji from the legendary writer Chetan Bhagat! I have been following you offline for a long period of time I read almost every article published in the Times of India and now I came to know about your RU-vid channel,it's really you sir! Earlier I was very hesitant to subscribe to your channel but anyway I did it by seeing your giant RU-vid family members because a fake and misleading channel can't really get such a huge number of fascinating people from around the world. Overall, it's really a very happy moment for me because I,finally, got you online too. From now onwards, I will try my best to keep in touch with you for more information and guidance about knowledge and education and beyond that.
Very true sr..I hve also such good friend circle and networking due to all of this which u hve mentioned...indeed, ur words means a grt acknowledgement to all of us..jst enjying all ur podcasts..
Today itself my mentor was trying to explain me the importance of people skills in my field. I didn't agree with him. And now comes this video... Perhaps the universe is asking me to value networking... Thanks for such good content sir Keep going
AS USUAL TO THE POINT , GREAT INSIGHTS AND IN SIMPLE WORDS!! CHETAN SIR NEVER DISSAPOINTS AND ITS BEEN 10+ YEARS!! ONE OF MY BIGGEST INSPIRATIONS GROWING UP!! HOPE ONE DAY WOULD BE ABLE TO MEET HIM & GET SOME PERSONAL ADVISE AS WELL.
Hello Chetan ji. I am learning a lot from your videos. I am glad I am able to see you and your videos and it's giving me a different sense of you and i am feeling like bond with you. Well I want to acknowledge how helpful this video has turned out to be. I actually took a step and initiated a conversation on RU-vid with a content creator to make a bond or network to benifit and develop in the space of health and fasting.
In life we mostly focus on physical outlooks & somehow neglect or deny about our internal things or this kind of minute things, which are core of our personality.Thank you CHETAN SIR 🙏😊😊😊🙏 this really gonna help us to improve our communication skills & network as well. Once again a big thanks to you for making such kind of videos that directly touches to our heart & we can easily relate to this.
True sir, I joined a public speaking and networking club called Toastmasters International for Entrepreneurs 1 year back I was an introvert software engineer now I am a combination of Introvert and Extrovert. I can see a vast difference in my social life then and now because of it I am planning to launch a startup soon due to my networking with elite people and entrepreneurs in the tech industry I got a lot of insights due to enhanced and clear communication skills and network among investors and VC people who appreciated my tech Idea and gave me the confidence to startup and follow the right methodology and startup lessons to remember.
Jor muzhase upar hai wohi muzhe sikhayega - Irony of life is I have learnt the best of the life lessons from not-so-successful people. In my experience, successful folks I have met were snobs, cocky, proud and so arrogant that talking to them have actually made me more diffident. I was also taught the exact same thing by my dad, networking, talking, social skills, bla bla bla. But working silently growing up steadily and being with people who value me have given me more peace. I love the idea of having strong network, I am ready to put in the effort too, but PEOPLE ARE UNPREDICTABLE. I wish for a society based on merit and not network, for I feel talking is not natural to everyone. Its not like math - roj 10 prob karo ye ajayega.
