This show did so much with so little CGI. Just goes to show you don't need flashy CGI to make a good Superman show, but might not hold up as well these days.
@@Spacemonkeymojo As a Superman TV show I can't get the same feeling of attaching to the characters and the atmosphere in newer Superman TV shows than back in this show.
I thought for sure the conversation would go something like this... Sam: "Hi Superman, it's a surprise seeing you here" "Oh Clark, Superman was just here! You must have passed him by the doorway." Clark: Sam: "I might be getting senile. Superman, I was just talking to Clark a moment ago and then I spaced out! "
I was expecting the opposite! 😂 😅 "Daddy... this HAS to be kept secret. It's dangerous, and--" "You mean that Clark is Superman?" 😶😮😑😮 "I-- wha-- HUH?!?" 😂😂😂
Harve Presnel was such an incredible singer too. Women all over the country fell in love with "Rotten Luck Willie" when he sang They Call the Wind Maria.
@@questworldmatrix ah yes i remember him, real good actor. I even remember he and the other guy that went on Desperate Housewives were in a movie called Face Off but minor roles tho. Just thought it was cool both people from the same series got a shot in a feature.
@@vgg31 It's a reinterpretation, not an origin story. That was the original idea, but the show lasted 6 seasons too long for this to be plausible. It hit every note of Superman's career but kept him grounded and out of the suit.
@@vgg31Smallville takes place in a different multiverse. It's decent, and a nice popcorn series, but the writing and acting wasn't quite as good. Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman is much better than Smallville and should have lasted a few more seasons.
Regardless of whether or not they have a child together in the various iterations of Superman, I would say the main problem with them conceiving is that they are different species, despite their similar appearances.
