I love how the average league player is so out of tune with the game they’re playing, that they can’t read the functionality of the kit and just see the repeating pattern that goes with new releases.

Well winning doesn't mean it isn't boring design

My problem with Aurora is that she seems so out of place in runeterra. Like she seems like a Tumblr original character more than a half human half animal person that lives in a community in the woods in runeterra like compared to Xayah and Rakan that seem to fit into that really well. She just seems boring generic quirky internet girl more than anything.

Tbh, i have to say that one of the best sucessful of a balance champion and design is Hwei, after a long time, i think people really think the champion having 10 abilities make him entire broken but he was so weak when he come out. Like, i love that release a ton because Hwei dont have any overloaded kit like any other champion, he have a great option choice and also it depends on you hitting your abilities and thats so fair because QQ is fast but have low hitbox, QE is slow but have long hitbox, while you have things like EW/EQ that can only hit one person at the time and then you have the R, like is not the best R out of there but mostly for a passive proc and extra damage on a combo (mostly you finish off the enemy with QW). So yeah, like, Hwei really is a fair champion and people have to see that and not the "HE HAVE 10 ABILITIES" when mostly you only use three on a single rotation. Thanks god riot dont put the abilities with not sharing cooldown because thst would be really overloaded.

I find it cute how Aurora hits her q and then as a reward does the damage AGAIN! It’s like Ahri Q but with none of the brainpower!

Is it just me who's a fan of most of the new champions? like Naafiri, Viego, Vex, Aurora, Zeri, Renata, Akshan, Nilah, K'Sante, Smolder. For me they are very cool and have good mechanics

Remember when they called Hwei overloaded? that's the most harmless guy out of the patch 13. Look at smolder, it took 3 patches just to nerf the damn thing

New champs are nearly always imbalanced on release, and most of ideas are more and more toxic. -Hyper scalling, mobile adc with point'n click execute -Anti tank, high burst, mobile, mid range mage-assassin -Ultra tank with high mobility turning into assassin -super mobile midlane adc-assassin with burst, mv speed bonuses, shield and REVIVE Riot breaks their own rules one by one, and expect champs to be healthy...

I hope they hit the right balance again one day

tbh from the whole new champs for the last two years i only appreciate renata, zeri and brair, and maybe naafiri

even if you release a beggar on the street as a new champion in front of the league players, everyone will be happy as if they have never seen a champion before and will say "if you don't like it, don't play, you say the same things for every champion, etc." to those who make the slightest criticism. get it into your head that your beloved riot games is no longer as attentive as it used to be in bringing new content.

Huh nobody says current new champions are bad. Just their kits are so badly designed that they are always either broken strong or broken weak depending on buffs and nerfs. Smolder Aurora Skarner are prime examples for this.

We were all complaining about mobility creep and how every champ gets a million dashes and ranged top laners, so riot graced us with both, introducing: ranged akali + most annoying voicelines in the game for good measure

Every new champion is broken and takes 1 year to nerf, OR they are pathetic and take 1 day to buff so they are broken and then 1 year to nerf. And at anytime you'll have 50% of all champions are so bad they are basically trollpicks, 25% are meh, 15% are strong and 10% are batshit broken.

To be fair, idk if is Riot's fault or if whe should blame the community. (I guess both?) At one side, there is WAY TOO MANY champions at the game. On the other hand, League community turned into a bunch of u happy paranoical crybabies who will ALWAYS find a dumb "reason" to talk bad about something. No, i Ain't talking about Ahri $500 skin, IG skins with the same face or the overloaded kits. I'm talking about things like people calling every skin "ugly" and etc for no reason, being paranoic with champion faces (even when its clearly them) and so on.

Nobody has said Aurora is bad at all lol. All pro players know she will be pro play meta due to her mobility alone. If you are only doing well with her now without realizing this just don't pick her up. She will be nerfed and then you can never play her anymore. :) I haven't lost a single game vs Aurora because I am a great midlaner, that doesn't mean she isn't fucking toxic. She straight up cheats. Saw her survive an ignite that not even Sett would have survived.
