There's a glitch where you can use the Scooter you get from the Carnival for this race instead of the Bike they give you. If you drive it to where you start the mission, you will be able to race with the Scooter while everyone else in the race has a normal bike. You will go much faster, but the handling is worse.

That's not a glitch, you can use it with any bike really, even the red bmx.

Compared to other town bike races, I wouldn't recommed using the scooter for New Coventry/Greaser mission races, the tracks have lots of tight corners and the handling on it is very poor compared to the bikes

You can use any bike btw Just park it near mission marker I recommend the red bike that tobias sells in his store
