Your shooting the NOCTON 50mm 1.5 Vintage , this is good choice and I can understand the results better , as I have the ULTRON and NOKTON in that design but in brass / chrome. Those are extremely fine optics and I shoot the Ultron all the time with Film. I like the warm cast of this Lomochrome color 92 film. Cannot wait to try this and 120 stock on my Rollei's. Your M3 is such a well kept little guy too , my Ultron lives on an MA the Summicron DR on the M3 or the Nokton 50mm 1.5

Yeah, the Nokton is really great. I just had to improve the ergonomics with a grip stick. The colors from the Lomo 92 are nice, but I had to tweak the white balance really hard to make it look like that. So don't be surprised if your results look bluer.

If you color correct it, yes. However, the halation is missing.

The unprocessed photos were better . Love rich strong colors like the blues. Your adjustments made it look overexposed.

There are plenty of other film photographers who left it blue as well. I wanted to show what you can still get out of the film with white balance correction. But if you like it bluer, you can leave the film however you want. ✌️

How do you scan? I saw you made a video about it but I think I watched it already. Its interesting that the pictures have a clean black border on the outside. That looks pretty clean.

It will automatically turn black if the contrast is right. Most of the time, though, I crop it out because I rarely hold the camera perfectly straight.

Although having more choice in film material is a good thing, it certainly makes no sense to rebadge old material and sell it at 3 times its price point. Others might have different opinions.

It makes, I think, always more sense to produce new films, even if it's a bit more costly for the companies. You can see from Fuji that it's disadvantageous if only one company has too many stocks that they can no longer maintain. However, every sold film is important for the manufacturers, whether it is respooled or completely new.

@@TheBigNegative-PhotoChannel I beg to disagree for the simple reason that neither Lomo or the similar rebranding outfits produce films of any sort. They buy stock of what is available or at a stretch commission a recoating of an old emulsion and then sell it as ' new ' films. If giants like Kodak and Fuji struggle to keep on producing film and have all but stopped research into new emulsions, then I doubt very much if people like Lomo would be able to produce new films. It's good to have more films around, but even here the end user is only willing to foot the bill to the extent expected today. Good at half the price, and no more
