Does it ever hit you that Mike, Barry and Jamie are literally famous for not knowing how to cook? And they keep their nerdy food friends James and Ben around to help with their homework.
If you hav enever had Wagy beef of any sort or Angus beef.. It is highly recomended as a burger! I love Wagyu beef burger.. And not that expansive. Get two patties for 7€(in spain) So it's not that expensive either and you kinda just need one burger... 2 is just OMG cant walk... hahaha. Also Black Wagyu is soo good. But the thing with the wagy burger. Yes it shrinks in size but it does get taller in the pan you see it just build up the melted fat insaid... ANd OMG... THAT IS A REAL ORGASM!!!
Andreas Løtveit Wagyu burgers don’t really make sense cause(if u were to go out of your way to grind your own meat for the patty), you’d be able to control the fat to meat ratio anyways. But if it works for you, I guess it works
@@andreasltveit8580 Grinding up Wagyu makes zero sense, to me. You can get a meat grinder and make your own burgers with your own ratio. And save money.
@@unbelievablescenes At what point did the comment convey originality? You don't have to be innovative to do well at a craft. World class symphony musicians in large part do not play original music, they play classical music. That in no way takes from their talent. Judging from your comment though, I hope you are only proud of things you have accomplished in original ways. I would hate to think that you pair hipocracy with elitism.
I legit used to watch sorted food back in primary school, and now I'm in university. You lot have really diversified and innovated overtime. Keep up the good work guys! ALSO WHEN ARE YOU DOING A LONDON MEETUP??
Moxie Beast I have been craving sushi for the last few months and this didn’t help I wish the restaurants in my city were open so I could at least order some I food cravings are what is driving me crazy in quarantine my grandfather and I are both at vary high risk if ether of us gets sick so I only leave the house to go to the store. Wish I could just swing by the local sushi place to pick something up but their not even open. Now that I know I can’t get my favorite foods I’m suddenly craving them more often then I ever have before.
My standard is too often yellow; mayo or bernaise, chips/fries, some sort of fish, usually white with crumbs of sorts which are yellow, and sweet corn.. looks like ive colour coded my plate in the most unappetizing colour 8 look
I really hope you will bring back the Lunch challenges. It was fantastic seeing the whole team on both sides of the camera and great fun having you lot roam the food market during your individual battles.
Been living in japan 1.5 years (from the UK) and soooo excited to see how this series goes 😄 I am with Barry when he said “let’s go try some Japanese food now” as the restaurant they first went to (though I understand was fusion) the only part which to me was Japanese was the sake, as Japanese avoid spicy food typically and other items were more Korean or various other Asian style. Saying that the food did look delicious and that’s the main part of food 😊 Last thing I will add, lots of Japan isn’t scared of fusion food and embrace it. Ramen was from China, Salmon came from Norway, and more have become quintessential parts of Japanese diet (肉じゃが Nikkujaga is basically stovies 😂) . 頑張ってください(good luck)
I was legitimately surprised when I scrolled down after watching and saw the #ad. Amazing video and someone literally paid you to go out and have amazing food/drinks. This. Was. Brilliant.
I love it when you explain the science and nutrition of food (sorry I'm a bit nerdy like that) but it made me think, you should do a series of 'health and environmental' videos, including unusual ingredients. Like the insects, gut health and vegan videos where you explain the science, health and environmental impacts. With recipes using those ingredients.
I really think the best videos and best part of seeing you guys is when the food you are trying is soo good it entrances everyone. Sharing such an experience, eating new things and showing those of us who aren't there, it really explains the food and drink to us. James' face eating the wagyu was the happiest I have seen him in a video! Pure joy! I don't think I have seen such happiness and jaw-dropping amazement from food since the Dubai and Thai challenge videos! Loved it! Wish we had great Japanese where I am!
Would just like to say, this is my new favourite channel! I spent almost my whole Sunday binge watching your videos untill responsibilities started calling. Especially live the Pass on challenges
Most of those pairings sound really good! I like the sound of the rich dishes with light, smooth sake. Gotta hand it to you guys, you know how to make an #ad fun to watch!
I’m going on a solo trip to London from the US and watching your videos inspired me to plan the trip! I’m kind of a foodie and these videos are very helpful for my trip planning. :)
I enjoy the videos where you go out drinking and eating. There was one series where each of you had to plan an evening, I think Ben went to a musical. That was one of my favourite series on this channel.
I would love to see a challenge where you have to take popular disliked foods (mushrooms, broccoli, sardines ect) and "transform" them into something that anyone would like :)
I hate mushrooms. I eat anything weird. Im not picky at all. I even eat blood and organ meat but for some reason i hate mushrooms. I want to like them so bad.
I'm surprised you guys didn't mention my personal favorite variety of sake: Nigori. It's unfiltered, so it has a milky white color when you shake it up, less alcohol by volume, but also a smoother texture.
Japanese food is a cuisine im not that familiar with but something im up for experimenting with. Ive had some nice sake in the past but never thought of pairing it with food like wine so thats a new one on me. Im looking forward to the ultimate battle on Sunday but are you considering a food club event with one of the restaurants? - Would be up for that!
I'm such a wimp when it comes to raw fish and I've never tried authentic Japanese because of it, but this video makes me want to try it! Thanks, Sorted!
The way you guys described the steak really made me wish I was there. I am traditionally more a roll person when it comes to sushi but this video makes me want to really explore more varieties of sushi/sashimi. Side note: I would love to see James and/or Ben make Turkey and Dumblings (that’s the American name at least). I can’t eat chicken and am looking for good substitute recipes.
Hey guys! Your next visit to the US should be to the Finger Lakes region of New York! There are wineries, fresh water fish, and this summer, the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock at Watkins Glen International Raceway! We'd love to have you!
*nod* there’s a lot more to NY than NYC! There’s also a number of cider houses, maple sugar houses (at the right time of year you can watch the process), and a number of distilleries.
I love your videos can you do an iranian food week and fetur a dish called fesinjan its a sweet and sower dish using diced chicken pomigranic past wallnuts honey dried lemon water fesinjan stew tin and rice with sower berrys and safron on the rice love you all
