I totally forgot about that until your comment, this puts a different context to this scene which I hadn't seen in nearly 30 years, when I watched it today I felt sorry for Recall but now I remember they were all actually being quite shady
Geoff was a great character in the series. Wasn't too keen on him at first but I think Patti had a lot to do with that. He mellowed and was much more likeable in the end. I was pleased they changed his character and gradually made him fit in a bit more with the watch. Michael Garner played the character superbly.
He went from being a poisonous stirrer to basically a grouchy, uptight git with no proper sense of humour. I still didn't like him hugely, although it was nice when he showed his more compassionate side, with his marriage to Fiona and sometimes helping characters like Hi-Ho. He was an interesting character for sure, and Michael Garner certainly did a good job playing his different sides.
@@BenBanjo87 Yes he certainly did. Certainly one of many very talented actors from the series. Yeah Geoff sure did lack a sense of humour lol. After being a gossip and a loner for so long, it was great to see him change and mellow and get on much better with the others on the watch. He was much better friends with George, Sicknote and Recall in the end.
If anyone was going to ask him it would be John I suppose, after all they share a ride to work and such like that, but as it was Sandra who started rumors it’s her fault.
