Thanks a lot sir! How do you feel about the 3+0 format? I’m thinking to go for 5+0 for the next series
@NathanDeisem
@NathanDeisem 2 года назад
@@AlexBanzea I think 5+0 is the perfect time format for instructive video content that doesn't take far too long. Although you've made a committed viewer out of me now in any time format! Thanks again!

Hey, what did I tell you? Change up the thumbnail, and this video already has more views (only 18 hours old) than the previous video in this series posted a couple days ago! Love the new thumbnail style, glad you incorporated some “London-esque” elements to it!

Hello, I love the way you explain, ty very much. Is there a possibility to make a London against Colle, because my brother learn it and always win against me...keep going!

@@AlexBanzea yes. Im rated 1200 in chess.com, and I think London Will help in my way of improve in chess. I want to learn it with both colors....but I can take and advice from you, if you think another thing against Colle (against my brother :) )

29:50 I have a question, in that position when he checked your king, I would certainly go for knight move to block the check and develop the piece and open the rook if he takes with bishop. Why did you prefer to move the king and not even consider move the knight? It seems to me like the knight move is a no brainer as it moves an undeveloped piece and gives chance to open the rook for the attack too, so why not? I am 1200 player just asking
@AlexBanzea
@AlexBanzea 2 года назад
Hey! That is a very good question. I think I didn’t not want to allow him move that bishop by eliminating the knight on c3, so the point is to keep his bishop under attack. Now that I think about it, your move might be perfectly fine (I haven’t checked with the engine). Usually when I see a winning move in the game I tend to look on that a bit deeper during the game rather than checking other candidates. For sure I would have gone into more detail about Nc3 if it was a longer time control.

Thank you so much again for this instructive video. I am an ELO 1900 player from Canada. In the first game, you played 7. Qb3. There is another variation I have seen in an RU-vid video produced by Eric Rosen: 7. Qa4 (looks like Cambridge Springs) Bd6? 8. Ba6!! Best line given by Stockfish is 7... Bxf3 8. Nxf3 a6 9. Ne5 Rc8 10. Be2. And Whites still have some tricks 10... Be7 11. Nxc6 Rxc6 12. Bxa6!
@AlexBanzea
@AlexBanzea 2 года назад
Hey! Thank you for watching. I know that line, I mention it in my most popular London Video. It can be very trappy, but for long term results I would stick to 7.Qb3 since it's just better objectively in my opinion. I have covered a lot of games against 7...Qc8 on the channel.

@@AlexBanzea thanks for the answer. London opening for white I've made good progress thanks to you and valuable publishers like you, but can you suggest an opening for black that we can play against d4 and e4 with not much theory?
