Wow. I’m going through this exact, EXACT same situation right now. She met someone irl, told me its not fair to me, we’re starting no contact because we can’t be friends. Hurts so bad, but so comforting to see others going through such a specific situation. LDR’s are so complicated in their own way.

I’m in a similar situation except he’s the one who couldn’t wait until our meeting date, he didn’t tell me upfront he was seeing someone else, and after telling me he wanted to get to know another woman he’s seeing, he said he still wants to meet in the future and keep talking to me in the meantime. How awful! And unfair to me and the other woman!! But he acts colder toward me so I know his affection has all moved to someone else. I think he might have been saying that stuff about meeting to try and make me feel better. I doubt he would be at the meeting place when I got there. Now i know what kind of person he is. He’s a cheater. He’s one of those guys who tries not to be but just IS an idiot who finds himself hurting people. So I stopped talking to him. He seems to think his loneliness is an excuse for not telling me he couldn’t wait a couple more months until we meet. Or to at least talk about the subject like adults! We aren’t in our 20’s. I’m too damn old for this crap! If he tries to get ahold me with some “baby please” bs, I will be so annoyed. I’m not plan B. If I were to take him back, I would never forget what he did. Years later I would still be wary that he will cheat on me. I can’t live like that!
Hello. Me and my boyfriend were on a ldr for 2 years and we met every 1-3 months. Due to coronavirus we haven’t met for 6 months and he slowly started acting weird and he told me he doesn’t feel the same way anymore and he doesn’t see a future,because we are both in a phase on our lives that we need to focus on our careers. We met in person and he broke up with me about 2 months ago. I started no contact but then its birthday came and i made a mistake and said that i miss him and other stuff and he said that its difficult for him too but he doesn’t want to fix anything right now. What do i do now?
Accept the breakup. He's putting his career first and has made that clear more than once. Stay in no contact for you to heal and move forward, not to get him back.

I had the same issue as you too because of covid and also he had a shift of environment at work and shifting back home. I’m in NC since the day he told me he wanted to break up. I’m not sure how NC works for LDR, I’m just worried it’s too late cause most advice are to engage by a month?
Hello , Hope you are well. When I met my ex, she was not a divorced woman, but she wasn’t staying with her husband. We started dating and everything was absolutely perfect.suddenly after six,seven months she started saying that“ I shouldn’t ruin my ex husbands life”, I tried to convince her by saying that “ you have already given your three years, and you are not happy that’s the reason we have started dating” but I was unable to convince her.My ex unblocked me when I was doing no contact, then she came back and messaged me that “I love you, I have filed a divorce now, but I don’t want to be in a relationship now, because I have some mental issues & I want to fix them first by myself ”then she blocked me again, what does this mean?? Were in a LDR relation everything is ok but sometimes i cannot go to her place bcouse of my work it take 4/2/5hrs going to her place but i never forget to chat her even f i dont call her bcouse bz in work the she said that she is not happy anymore and she doesant see any spark anymore but all iam doing is work nothing more just to earn and to be with her someday is that any posible that she will come back couse everytime i see her post i think shes happy with a new one that near to her
