#VIDEOCHALLENGE
After owning a Harley Davidson Nightster and test riding a number of different bikes, I decided to get my dream bike. Up until January, 2016 I had not ridden a sport bike with as much power as the Street Triple R. I was nervous, but I still went for it. After 3 years of ownership, I have a lot to tell you about my Triumph Street Triple R. Here is my long term review of my dream bike. Hope you enjoy.

I came across your channel just two days back while searching for Alpinestars Tech Aero reviews. Liked that video so much that I subscribed. Watching this today has just reaffirmed that you're a great reviewer. Your honest, practical and real-world perspective of this bike (and that backpack) is much more illuminating than dozens of road tests from PR talk-filled auto publications. This comment just made me want to review more products that I use on a daily basis. :D I'm so happy the videos I make can help some one with their buying decision, especially on some expensive purchases. I'm glad you liked that Alpinestars Tech Aero backpack review. It was my first motorcycle backpack and I still like it a lot. They have changed that backpack and I really like the original so I still have the backpack to this day! Thanks so much for watching and comment with such kind words!

Hey nice video there! Can you share on the engine heat?does it burn your thigh or gets really hot? I've owned Daytona 675 (with tail exhaust) before and the heat was just too unbearable. I like the bike a lot so am thinking to get a newer version with the exhaust down below. And wish to know if it's still as hot as it was pls.

Your bike looks sweet, I guess it's not too great as a tourer but there are other bikes for that, and the Street Triple seems to be a good compromise between performance and touring. :>)

Hi there. I did not lower the front. Only adjusted the suspension a little bit. But not by much at all.

Novice but not so new rider here. I brought this bike to numerous places such as Canyons and I still feel that lowering it would provide so much convenience thus increasing the fun factor to my rides. I’m 5”7 with a 29-30 inseam and I found myself choosing between 25mm and 35mm from the Lust Racing lowering links. I decided to use this brand as opposed to Soupys. My question is, should I go for the 25mm or the 35mm? Plus I know that the kickstand did not have to be changed and my other question is, how much lean angle is lost from it using 35mm? Thanks in advance :)

With your inseam, I would go with 35mm. You'll enjoy it lowered by that length.

Have you had any mechanical issues? I am looking at buying this model it would be used for me. Have looked at 10k miles plus. Do you have any suggestions for buying used? Or make a video about the service on it. Thank you and really helped me alot :D

Hi there! I actually have had ZERO mechanical issues with this bike. Usually, with my purchases, there is 1-2 minor things with the item. But not this bike. It has been the same bike since the day I bought it, except for the normal wear and tear from using it. If you're looking to buy this bike used, the only thing that would be wrong with it would be from the misuse of the its owner. And you'll find that it is rare that an owner would mistreat this bike. Of course, look for normal wear and tear. Also, look to see if it's been dropped. Other than that, it's a very mechanically sound motorcycle! Thanks for stopping by!

Hey dear, thank you for that Video . I have the exact same machine included a Quickshifter and some Crash protectors :-) and I luuuuve it. Actually I think its smooth as a KittyCat and not the least agressiv. But its my first Bike what do I know :-) Did you ever experience the machine not starting during a ride (after brake or so ?) Thats my only peoblem Trying to find out. Already changed Battery Free Run Magnetic "switch and some other stuff...but still.... Love to you Sista

Any thoughts of trading up to the 765? I had an 08 and just got a 2019 R. Love all the technology. Yes, and I got the low because I’m height challenged.

You switched out the radiator cowl right? The white bikes don’t come with black ones.

What’s your suspension settings? I’m 5’10 and can barely touch my toes onto ground lol

My front suspension was adjust a bit, but by the dealership. I unfortunately, don't know what the setting was. But it might be 0.5 to offser the back end being lowered.

Hi. I've actually had no issues with the bike so far. I was expecting some electrical issues since that's what some previous owners were saying. But in my experience with this bike, I had none.

Thank you for your detailed review. Really helpful for those in the market for these bikes. I’m assuming it has gone welll in this department but how has it been reliability wise ? Unfortunately triumph there’s an assumption by the public of pooor reliability

As for reliability, I've actually had zero issues. So nothing to comment about any unreliability at this point.
