🎮 Comment Why…. just why didn’t more GBA games use flat shaded polygons? Instead so many games, especially racing games, tried desperately to add textures to it. And the result was a cheap mess in terms of gameplay. This however feels like a real 3d racing game. And you can do lots of things with flat polygons. Virtua Fighter, Virtua Racing, Starfox, Stunt Race FX.. all these would have worked perfectly on the GBA but sadly they never were made.
This looks much better than some of the other racing games for the GBA. I think what makes it work is that they hide the low render distance by placing a lot of tight curves and enclosed spaces around the track, which also makes the tracks feel more dynamic and like there's always something going on.
I used to be a fan of Hot Wheels and I remember playing and completing this game on PS2 including winning a number of gold trophies in different tracks and challenges.
I borrowed this game from a friend. The graphics of the landscape immediately reminded me of the first Star Fox game. I was impressed with it once I got into it.
I know this might seem off-topic, but in case if anyone may be wondering, I actually have some questions about some things in mind in case if anyone happens to know the answers to them since this is just something I've been dealing with now for the past several months unfortunately. 1. My e-mail account hasn't been hacked or anything, but a while back I noticed that my e-mail account/address has started receiving various spam e-mails and this has been an ongoing problem for me since this has been happening almost every day for the past several months. What exactly causes this to happen? 2. I might have also accidentally responded to a spam e-mail or two from before even though I didn't mean to do so, and it seems like ever since then, my e-mail account has just been receiving even more spam mail that way. What exactly causes that to happen too and why? 3. Is there also some possible way to completely stop the spam mail altogether or not? I've been reporting the e-mails, deleting them, blocking them, and even blocking the e-mail addresses and domains where the e-mails have been coming from, but it seems like no matter what I've been trying to do, nothing seems to be stopping it so far and I sometimes even receive some spam e-mails somehow from certain senders even though I already have their e-mail addresses blocked although they shouldn't be going through to me if I already have them blocked. I just thought of asking these questions though in case if anyone knows the answers to them and I know this is kind of off-topic and all, but this is just something that I've been having to deal with now for quite some time and it's just really aggravating too although I wish it would somehow stop.
