LONGSHOT POWDER... Underrated powder?

This was a Test Fire with the Longshot powder and also to find out the Power Floor for the RMR 124gr Match Bullets combo. I've seen too many negatives on this powder, what gives? The powder seem to be a lot more CHUNKY flake Vs. the Titegroup powder which I've been using in the last 7 years.
I was offered a very good price on this powder so I went and purchased these powder from a local guy... So others may prefer a different powder out there for the 9mm load but, these seems to be very good in my honest opinion...

Longshot really shines in 40 S&W. Amazing velocities, and in many cases, lower pressure than other powders.

I agree!! Fastest 180gr load I have made for 40,I’ve chronoed at 1,100 FPS

I use LS in 10mm. I can push 180gr avg 1200fps.

i use 'loudshot' in 9, 357sig 40 and 10. my fav is 10mm 180 hst,9.2 LS with cci 350 primers. my woods load. happy loading.

I use Longshot for all my pistol calibers. Load .380, 9mm, 45 ACP, and it really shines with 10mm full power loads, the best velocity I have tried for 10mm.

Interesting, Longshot is a great powder, but is designed for shotguns.. that's why the rounds are a little on the slower side, slower burning to help push more weight.. I know reddot would be faster or even greendot.. im sure you know that, just trying to educate anyone needing info... good video, thanks, now I know what to expect if I wanna load up some .45's 👍.

I’ve read and advised by fellow shooters to place chrono at around 10 feet for more accurate reading…

Cmax Arms I am fairly new to the reloading scene, and I haven't heard of this powder until I saw it on backpage. I did a few search and I went and purchased the powder after I offered him $70 for 4 lbs. I couldn't be any happier with this SCORE haha. I used to be a one powder only guy but, when there's CHEAP powder for sale, buy and reload em!!!
