Longtime 'The Price is Right' host Bob Barker dies at 99: Remembering the TV legend 

The Price Is Right has been a part of my life since my childhood, and there will never be another host like Bob Barker. May he rest in peace.

Rest in peace, Bob. Thanks for all the great TV viewing.

Damn it. I wanted him to make it to 100. So sad that him and Betty White were close to that. Still a remarkable run. Please remember that he was a WWII Veteran and a member of "The Greatest Generation". He was a connection to your grandparents or great-grandparents. This hits hard. It really is like losing a member or patriarch of your family.

I watched Bob Barker growing up and he was part of my life then. And he still a part of my life now but I will forever miss him at age ninety nine! You might say he was close to 100 without going over! But I will always miss him. But my biggest dream of all is to meet one of Bob Barker's contestants. I had that dream on February 28th 2017.

Bob you brought a lot of joy to the world!! You surely shine on in the great beyond!! Travel fast and high good Spirit!!!

I didn't believe this at first, and only now it's started to sink in. Absolutely gutted he didn't make it to 100.

Barker lived through the most sucessful and finest years in America. He leaves a world that is collapsing. Just in time Bob. Safe journeys.

The grocery game was one of my favorites. I remember a grocery game episode from 1981, where a contestant in the audience with an Italian accent, yelled out ' 3 macaroni !' Bob Barker pointed that out, with a chuckle

On April 24th 1982 in Buffalo New York at the Old Aud, Bob Barker brought his Fun and Games Show to town,I and my friend were in the audience and he walked 2 rows in front of us with a wireless mic looking for contestants . I remember this like it was yesterday. RIP Bob !!!

I wonder if those lawsuits against him by those former models on the show for harassment were ever settled? Still he was a major mainstay on T.V. for well over 50 years- he had become like a regular guest in many people’s homes! I remember him doing Truth Or Consequences as a kid, as well as The Price Is Right and the Miss U.S.A. and Miss Universe pageants. Rest In Peace and Power Bob.

Sad to hear Bob goes back to my earliest childhood memories with the price is right as a small child I would look forward to watching the show and can remember the excitement of hearing the price is right theme song I would run as fast as I could to get to the television he will always be in many of our memories and never forgotten he will be missed.

What a tragedy. He lived a beautiful life almost to 100 like Betty White. We're losing all of our great Legends! I'm 51 years old and I remember all of these great shows from the 80s in the 90s and it makes me sad to see are great Legends leaving us. It's life and it happens.🥺

I remember Bob Barker when my grandmother was still alive I was with her she was in her kitchen cooking she was watching The Price is right before her stories ( soap operas) come on.
