I'm old enough to remember Rihanna refusing to sing songs in studio that she didn't feel in her soul. This was when she was not well known and she seemed like a spoiled brat back then. It didn't look like she would break big at the time. Then the stars aligned and BOOM! A billionaire is made. Thank you African Tigress for sharing her story with us.❤

I remember when I was in Barbados and the driver would randomly pick up strangers along the way. I thought wow you can’t do this in many countries, Barbados is indeed special!

Taxis pick up people along the way in Trinidad & Tobago too unless you hire a Private cab from a firm . I haven’t been in Trinidad for a very long time so not sure if it’s still the case

Yes. Trinidad still has route taxis, they pick up random people. If you want private you call a taxi company. In Barbados there is no route taxi, they are private but the van at the taxi stand are route, meaning not private.

Kite flying was one of the things I did as a child. Our Kite flying season comes up in April during the Easter celebrations. We never purchased them they were homemade.

West Berry cemetery, my grandfather bought a plot in there in the forties, real estate that my family still own, used to make my own kites as a child set up my,traps to catch wood pigeons,was a tomboy,used to play marbles with the boys and win, now a grandmother, good to see beautiful Bim I live in the uk.

It’s amazing the people that we choose to be our heroes 😮 doctors, nurses, garbage collectors, social workers should be our heroes. Not a woman that sings rubbish music! Society is warped and twisted! Idolizing celebrities is a sad state of affairs in our society. I mean you respect someone for achieving a goal and materializing wealth but how can Rihanna be my role model or hero. We need to evaluate ourselves as individuals. We value all of the insignificant things in life and devalue the people that are truly serving us. Just sayin! Why don’t she donate that $20 million dollars on her island infrastructure, instead of buying a dwelling that she doesn’t even live in.

She has gotten political, and has said some pretty disgusting things along the way. I like my entertainment to be entertaining, and what they believe or do in their personal life is theirs to hold. I know I'll get flamed on this because I as an individual are not allowed my opinion, but those in "royalty" are allowed to spew away. And yes, if she had not been so disgusting and out of line, I would have no need to comment..
