Already had a Nissan Frontier and an Xterra Pro4X, so I wanted something unique for special use, not an every-day driver (though it certainly could be used that way). My 2021 Gladiator Willys feels and looks like something special and unique. Always wanted a Jeep and finally rewarded myself. It gets a 'lot' of attention, though not my reason for buying. Looking forward to summer driving in Colorado..

I had this dilemma a month ago. I'm a long time Tacoma owner. I went for a drive in a new tricked out TRD off road and liked it. Toyota did not want me to test drive a Gladiator, LOL. Later that day drove a factory lifted Overland with Fuel rims and 35s... not even close. It was awesome.. and the kicker was they gave me 7500 for my 06 Tacoma.

I love my Rubicon Gladiator. I put on the S&B intake and it sound tough. Thinking about spending $200 with S&B for the air scoop intake for the hood of my Rubicon.

Agreed on resale value, but there is one caveat... if your vehicle gets totaled, you're going to be happy you had high resale value when it comes time to collect your insurance check.

Gr8t video. As you stated from your other video, the Gladiator is very expensive than the Tacoma. Pricing is another reason to consider as well.

I have notice one thing with my 2020 Gladiator. Lunging forward. A good example is when I go to the VA hospital. There are several speed bumps there at the guard shack to the parking lot. Let’s say that I’m stopped, and have a speed bump in the road that’s right there at the tires. There may be several cars in front of me. As I go to go forward. You step on the accelerator. It sits there as the rpms increase at the speed bump. Then, all of a sudden, it lunges forward, climbing the speed bump. That lunge is a bit difficult to control, when there is another vehicle in front of me. I have owned a few Jeeps, and I have never experienced something like this before with other vehicles. There is nothing wrong with the Gladiator. It’s just the way it is, I guess. What do you think? Have you experienced what I’m describing? I love my Jeep Gladiator, and will never give it up. Still the BEST VEHICLE ON THE ROAD

It’s the transmission not the engine. That’s why jeep is more fun and more comfortable and gets better fuel.

Ok ok I warmed up to the Gladiator and might get when (currently have a Tacoma). Is the Gladiator susceptible to the famous “jeep wave”? lol I mean does it count as a jeep to have to wave to people? 😂

I actually traded in my 2018 Nissan Titan for a 2020 Nissan Frontier with the 3.8 v6 and 9 speed automatic 👍

People will claim that the Tacoma is more reliable but the reliability on them took a nose dive after the 3rd gen. The 6 speed auto is one of the worst gearboxes on a truck.
