I listen to this everyday I’ve had the original album, cd and worn it out this group sound will never get old it makes me feel so good WoW is all it’s up there🎉
Had this playing one evening, it had been raining all day into the late night hours. Got a very special call, this song played that evening. It was the most beautiful song for that time. Dimmed lights, scented Vanilla candles flowing through the air. Definitely was an absolute phenomenal evening.😎🔥🔥
The vocalist on this track is either Sunay Suleyman or Linda Carrierre. They replaced Steve Nichol and Jane Eugene had left the group by then. The last original member, Carl Macintosh wanted the group to transition to the "Soul II Soul" type sound which had become very popular in the early 90s. Eugene and Nichols (Nichol was the founder of the group)wanted to maintain the group's original sound which led to creative differences and the eventual departure of the other two members.
I wake up to this song every morning , this songs vibe is 💯 , like riding home from work, before I start working on my residence at my retirement job , like perfect mood and lovely day at work, best song ever , I woke up to it as a kid, and ever since then in the past , still in the future /present. This song is #Iconic . Thanks for the perfect sounds from loose ends. 🤘💪✌️🤙
With this album Loose Ends, taking something from Soul to Soul ,evolved their style to another level.A very similar job to what the Change did with Chic
Great analysis ... and being huge fan of both Chic, Change and Soul 2 Soul, Loose Ends... I can definitely understand and agree with your premise! Spot on :D
A lot more where this came from. I have 4 TD Production Channels with over 300 mixes posted. I have a full mix featuring all of Loose Ends great songs. I hope you enjoy as it is a blessing to share.
Talk to me Players. Taking it to another musical level. This vibe is humming every time I hear it. A bonified classic for your Ass. Ladies let us know what you want! We can work it out without further pain. Love conquers all.
Reminiscing so hard that I had to stop the music and go blank again. Loose Ends was my go to group during my US ARMY wild days (1981-) over in Germany. From 1985 Hanging on a String, 1986 Stay a little while child, 1988 Watching you, and my favorite (as I had been in a tumultuous relationship with a Fraulein I loved but couldn't stand) "LOOK HOW LONG" 1990. My, how time does not stop and wait on anyone! I can not push play to continue, that's how impactful this group and their internal riffs were on this young Soldier - now old man.
I was stationed in Germany during that same time in the Ramstein AB/K-Town area. That's where I first started my adventures as a DJ in and around clubs in that area.
@@tdproductionchannel260 were you there in the 1980s? I D.J'd at the popular German Clubs in Ktown. Chez le mi' and then one of the owners parted ways and I went with him to his new club just about the time Prince dropped Boys and Girls. That Club name escapes me now. My later years I dj'd up in Mannheim, Heidelberg and several other cities (but not at the Zoo: that was DJ Mitchs house another Blk American). I knew DJ Eric personally, he went on to DJ in Berlin at The German radio station Jam FM. btw- did you know DJ Johnnie the mix brother from Ktown. We hung out several times back then.
Not sure. I returned to the US early 84. I think he was with a DJ crew that played in a large rec center in K-Town. I worked at a club in Landstuhl, club in Trier plus a bunch of private parties etc.. I tried to get into the larger military clubs around K-Town but I was just starting out and couldn't break through. It was a good start though because when I came back I had a pretty good run over about 10 years.
Thanks again, TD! Another smash! Loose Ends, should pay you! Absolutely Amazing! Now All of you, check out, their full Loose Ends, by TD productions! Now, that is 3+++ hrs of true bliss! A true must have, for any true music lover!
Just wondering, who doesn't like this song if you ever followed Loose Ends. Is it because Jane wasn't singing lead. I can understand that, but the groove that Carl laid down seems to compensate for her absence.
I can't understand it either!! Sad that a good group with many hits would brake up. Oh well. I understand Steve wanted to change their style of music but Carl and Jane didn't like that idea so they left the group. (Slow Down, Hanging on a string, Magic Touch, Watching you)
Nice mix. I like it! funny I've never done this but, I bought the cassette gave it away bought 2 cd's and gave one away. all of late 1990 and 91-93 everyone from the "Town" we call ,(Oakland) Played Loose Ends to def!

I have always loved this song as well as the music of Loose Ends as a whole, but I just want someone to answer this question. Does anyone else think they sound like The Bee Gees on this track? Or is it just me? 😃😂

I had this remix i did a couple of years ago and figured I'll post it. It's included in the full Loose End mix. It's one of my favorite songs. Although at this point the original band had split up, this song was still smooth.
