I dont know if you are still responding to comments but im about 248 lbs right now im a teen and im cutting my calories a day down to 1000-1200 and working out 6 days a week along with cardio do you think its possible i can lose 45-50 pounds in 3 months?
Hey Chris, that sounds like too aggressive of a plan to me. I would talk about it with your parents and pediatrician. Go a little bit slower you will get there.
You have to get into a manual calorie deficit and then eat an adequate amount of protein... you can do it just be consistent. I would also walk every day and do a couple days of resistance training per week
@@MikeCola I only got to lose 50 pounds, which is much easier than what severely heavy people must lose, in which case they got to lose over 100 pounds.
Number one of you don’t want loose skin dont workout like this, take your time and drink lots of water and your skin will fit you+ you’ll be looking good (takes 6-12 months) unless your losing like 10-30 pounds you should be fine but if it’s like 40-whatever take time
@@MikeCola I..... am surprised to hear you say this. I thought you would laugh and say its a sure way to yo-yo diet or something.... But I wonder if its possible to just reverse diet out of a month or two of prolonged fasting and just start lifting then.
