I really resonated with the statement you made about not striving to be the thinnest I can be. I never feel that I am thin enough. I need to strive to be the healthiest that I can be and be happy with that. Thanks for planting that seed in my mind.

Lawd, I'm seriously the all or nothing mentality. If i mess up, I'm giving up on the day and then heck i might as well binge on everything I've wanted. 😬

Thank you. I am still in the weight loss part of my journey (just 10 more pounds to go), but I really look forward to living with more balance in maintainence. I, too, love to get a baked treat at the farmer's market or enjoy a really good burger, sushi, pasta, etc., so it is very encouraging to see how you have done it.

Commenting a month after you posted this so I don’t know if you’ll see this, but thank you for the vid! You’re the first I’ve found who has a similar build to me and it’s so motivating. It seems like everyone I see is 5’2 and 140 pounds and wants to be 110. It’s so demotivating because I know their “tips” work for people of their build. I’m 5’10 and 266, gained so much during Covid and working in the hospital and being so exhausted I fell off what small workout routine I did have. It’s been such a struggle to get motivated because I feel like nothing will work because of my build. Rant over, I’m happy I found your videos and will probably watch them when I start to spiral in my head.

Been uploading myself for extra accountability. I am currently 438 lbs down from 508. For me, admitting to myself that it was all emotional for me is what sparked the change, that and a trip to the hospital with heart palpitations.

Great job losing 70 lbs! You can do this-one day at a time. There will be ups and downs but the important thing is to keep going. You are worth it-wishing you the best!

@@barbaramanning337 Thank you so much. One of the things I learned was not to weigh myself every day, just once a week. Otherwise it makes me feel anxious lol.

The all or nothing mentality reminds me on one phrase in the book aromic habits: You dont show up because you want to exercise, you show up because your IDENTITY is someone who exercise. Nothing less.

I've been watching your videos and have seen you and Adam comment on certain protein items taste more "proteiny". I'd like to try a protein powder for an afternoon snack shake. Which one do you use or would you recommend ? I'd hate to buy a big jug then not like it. Thanks.

I have been wanting to ask you and keep forgetting. Are you still making the ginger shots you used to drink. If not, can I ask why you quit them?
