@@petebarr780 These diffs are huge, it'll take a lot more than ear plugs to lock them up. They're still super easy to move. I kinda mixed a ear plug and a half with some of the stock fluid. Been working good for off-road
@@zagertRC oh ok....mixing them might help put more of the power into the ground/tires. I'm sure with belted tires it'll be crazy fast. unfortunately those badlands do balloon...i think some people gorilla tape the inside of them once they start running a more powerful system

If you're asking about the blue external cappack on the ESC. It's a cappack to keep ripple down on the xlx2. Too much ripple from the batteries will cause damage to the controller.
Sick over beats. I’ll have to get a cap pack for my max 6 combo after hearing about your ripple issue. Have to ask, the bone tool, only seen it by VW mechanics?
@@zagertRC yeah, I tried to freeze frame the back side with the logo. Thought it might have said Subaru? That tool was called a bone tool when I worked on VW’s.
Both being so close in mah the 120c batteries should be faster. The higher mah really just helps with voltage sage for speed running, or longer run times. Higher c rating is better for speed running in general, but that also comes down to the company too. Some companies slap whatever c rating they want. Buying the best quality batteries is always the way to go. Hope this helps.
Because stock location is the worst design that anyone ever thought of. Way too much movement causing ridiculous amount of ripple and possibly destroyed xlx2s
