After blowing the first Castle Creations XLX2, I took the XLX2 out of my Arrma Infraction and used it for a speed run bash day! Another speed runner joined us for the epic day! I hit 73mph multiple times, because I couldn't keep the front end down. Also this second xlx2 went out shortly after the cartwheel crash. Hopefully the truck will be up and running soon! Enjoy the carnage!

It's definitely worth it! I got mine for half price off craigslist, so it worth keeping an eye out for second hand. It's too big for some people and they get rid of them for cheap 😆👍

I bought an xlx2, it didn't last 3 days before the negative wire on the esc broke off. Sent it in for warranty, they replaced it. The 2nd one lasted almost 8 mos before the same thing happened again. It's at castle now, hopefully they'll still honor the warranty. If they send me a new one, I'm going to try and figure out a way to secure the negative wire so it doesn't move.

73mp on grass with a 5th scale is deeply impressive nice work mate! That Tumble was insane.. patiently waiting for it to stop lol.. Shame on the XLX2's. What is your opinion of those blue 70kg servos? They're pretty cheap...

So far, so good. I expected a little bit more power though, it has a little trouble moving the badlands back and forth at a stand still

Is that the Spektrum 6100AT? Castle has a bulletin out on that receiver. It requires a different way to calibrate the ESC. Something to do with a failsafe in the receiver.

My first castle ESC was a mamba x in my Limitless and it didn't last too long speed running lol. 12s might be in the future for me

That would be an awesome ESC to own, but if I went 12s I would try out a flier ESC first. They're half the price and people right now think it's still better for speed running. But we haven't seen the max4 in action yet💪
