@@r4ven22 Very true, every gender gets discriminated against. And nowadays the woman get more power. If a lady attacked a man and he fought back, all it takes for her to scream and the man gets a life sentence and no chance to explain. It’s very disgusting in my opinion (I’m a girl)

It was said that a man's tear is much more expensive than woman's because they rarely cry, and when they do, its not a good thing because they have experienced a huge devastation and when you see them cry help them. Women cry at anytime people think they cry for no reason especially when they say they don't know, they do know and thats what make their tears less expensive. When a man cries it doesn't only effect him but his entire family like parents, wife, children and siblings so in order for them not to be effected they bottle up their tears
I have seen this one on instagram but I'll just paraphase it here: Unlike women who are usually given flowers on courtship, marraige and 18th birthdays, most men only receive their first flowers on their funeral. Men totally deserve to have a day to be celebrated and reminded that they matter too.
As a woman, I am so angry that these women exist to taint the true meaning of equality. Men should have a day just as much as women. We don’t deserve special treatment, we deserve equal treatment. 👏🏻👏🏻
The sad thing is that equality dictates that 90% of women get spoiled, and if they get spoiled they create their own problems. That's when they start hating men. There's literally never been a culture in which men weren't above women that survived, because women won't let it.
@@TheStraightestWhitest humm , that's not totally right. Such culture aren't doomed to fail because of womans : take a look at the Sarmates for example
As a female, the fact women get a whole month and men get a single day is already sad, but the fact women will hate on men for getting even 24 hours of appreciation despite the fact they get an entire month makes me sick.
The problem isn't that women don't get respect, the problem is that women don't get EQUAL respect as men, but this is just spoiling them. This can be said for a lot of problems in society.

Yah. Using sexism as a term is kinda stupid if it’s only against one sex, because sexism as a word implies that both sexes can be discriminated against. & for racism, it’s defined as avoidance, hatred, or discrimination against a race or someone because of their race! I am an only girl in a family of five boys with a very traditional father. The men in my life are awesome and have been my biggest supporters. My dad has very traditional views of men and women BUT he has taught me that being a woman doesn’t mean being less than a man. In fact I was treated better then my brothers while being offered the same opportunities to work or go to college. I honestly think my father was the most important influence in my life. Because of him I never got pregnant as a teenager like lots of my schoolmates, I never dropped out of school and I am going to college to get my degree. Never over look the influence of a good father in a woman’s life.
@@fujiwaranonekobiodrando1257 I grew up in a very poor, minority community. Many of my classmates got pregnant at 14. I was very young and was hanging out with boys that would have led me down that same path. But my father spoke to me and I never made those decisions because of him.
Your father reminds me of many men in my family. We too are more traditional, but obviously women and men are treated equal. I think in the family, men are given that sense of duty, and in simple terms, it is really: "never hurt a woman or a child, as men we are given some strength, that we ought to use to be sure women and children feel safe ad protected and cherished". Good to see that fathers like yours exist, and thank you for taking the time to appreciate what a good father he is! I hope when I grow up some day I can be a good father to children, and if I have a daughter, show her how she ought to be treated as a young lady, and raise sons with strong values.

You know, it's funny how men are portrayed as the villains or the problem. Yet throughout my childhood growing up, I haven't really had so many problems I did with men than I do women. I won't lie, I have met or interacted with some men that didn't exactly know better, but most of my bullies have been women who had problems with me, including a teacher in second grade. They were the ones, even little girls, who insulted me, had issues with me, harassed me, and even outright assaulted me. Meanwhile, I've only had either a few bad friendships with young men or we just didn't click. So to see that men are portrayed as the most toxic even tho I consider women to be the more toxic due to my experience, I find it really hypocritical. And this is coming from a young woman in her 20s who believes that everyone deserves an equal chance.

It is contributions and sacrifices they honor. I will not even comment on the picture they put. Men that do the hardest jobs possible, risk their lives on a daily bases ten times more more than women and children so they don't have to get in harms way or get inconvenience by doing tasks like sewage work, garbage collecting, fishing or changing the uranium rods in a nuclear reactor and that is the thanks men get. Thanks world for miss treating the people that keep everything running.
Yours is the most accurate observation regarding what men and International Men’s Day means to mainstream media ie. it means nothing more than a subject for derision to mainstream media. In my opinion, every single person that appears on any mainstream media platform, and who refuses or fails to acknowledge International Men’s Day equal to International Women’s day, is utterly despicable. That is every person on every news channel, daytime show (especially), talk show or any other program on TV in the western world.

I didn't know there WAS an International Men's Day! Sorry I missed it! Every day, men are bashed, and women idolized. Old Spice recently had an ad campaign to raise awareness of all the good things black men do and to fight the thug stereotype. "Acting like men are being victimized instead of trying to fix the patriarchy is toxic". Why can't we do both? Issues with things like toxic masculinity (reffering to the idea that men have to be a certain way to be considered "masculine") affect men and women. Its not about trying to figure out who statistically has things easier or harder than the other. Its about recognizing that everyone has it rough in their own ways. Just look at the themes IMD has had each year and its obvious this is good for everyone. "Expand Reproductive Options for Men", "Stop Male Suicide", "Positive Male Role Models". These are things that (if done correctly) help fix a lot of the issues women are facing as well.
The patriarchy is not existent in the West... however, it's very existent in the Middle East. Why don't feminists speak up about women's rights in the Middle East? Oh yeah, I forgot they mostly exist to scam females and that's why they get backed up by the same people that oppress women. Being a woman is not easy, that I know, but being a man ain't easy either. I think we seriously need to stop with this "battle of sexes" that the feminists started because they like being the victim in almost any given situation.
@@wyvernslayer4530 I have a feeling that you don't know what toxic masculinity is and just see women talking about how certain masculine traits bother them. It's a lot more than that. Toxic masculinity is also about the perpetuated idea that men should be a certain way, and that its wrong for men to be any other way. For many men out there they are told from throughout their life things like "don't cry. Be strong. Man up.". They go their whole life feeling that if they ever show any weakness that it makes them less of a man. Considering that, do you think those men would be able to see a therapist if they are having problems, or would be able to tell anyone that their wife is abusing them? It's partially because of things like this that the suicide rates for men are noticeably higher than for women. I'm not saying it's the only reason for any problem, another reason for the suicide rates is that it doesn't account for attempted suicide (and men tend to commit suicide by means that have a higher fatality rate), but even so just because it isn't the sole cause of a problem in every or even most cases doesn't mean it should be ignored. In case you are curious, here's a video of a man talking about his (and other's) experiences with this issue: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xyIQFI865_w.html
